Prepositions of direction

Preposition of directions : คาท่ีวางไวห้ นา้ คานามหรือสรรพ
นาม เพ่ือบอกทิศทาง หรือตาแหน่งท่ีตง้ั

at the corner = ท่ีหวั มุมของ..... at the traffic light = ท่ีสญั ญาณจราจร

next to = ถดั ไป opposite to = ตรงกนั ขา้ มat the corner = ท่ีหวั มุมของ.....
at the traffic light = ท่ีสญั ญาณ

จราจร

in front of = ขา้ งหนา้next to = ถดั ไป behind = ขา้ งหลงัopposite to = ตรงกนั ขา้ ม
in front of = ขา้ งหนา้
behind = ขา้ งหลงั

far = ไกล near = ใกล้
far = ไกล near = ใกล ้across from = ขา้ ม (จากฟากหน่ึงไปอีกฟาก through = ผา่ น, ทะลุ
หน่ ึ ง)
ผา่ น, ทะลุ
across from = through =along = แนวขา้ ม (ฟากหน่ึงไปอีกฟาbกyหน่ึง)= (โดย เก่ียวกบั การเดินทาง)

along = แนว by = (โดย เก่ียวกบั การเดินทาง)
