Ethan

One day I was sitting on the couch when I heard something so I grabbed
my sword, unsheathed it and went to the kitchen, opened the door to the
furnace room, then the door to the garage and slowly walked over to the
garage door and looked through one of the few working windows. I didn’t
see anything, so I jumped over the small pile of can bags. I opened the
door. I looked around, saw nothing but cement and our yard.

“I really wanted to use this thing,” I said looking at my sword disappointed.

So I swung it a few times then sheathed it. Then I went back to the living
room sat down on the couch. I wasn’t scared but close as I could get.
