The Wagon
“Ok get up here,” I said as my family was getting up on the wagon.

“Here they come,” said Joy Miller.

It was 1821 when a big wagon stopped by to say we only had an hour to
get our family and stuff out of our house and into our wagon.

“Ok, let's go!” said Annibale Miller.

“Mama, are they going to take me if they catch up with us?” asked Grace.

“No way! They are going to have to get through me and papa first. And
beside why in the world would you think that?”

“I guess it’s because I read that book you found on the dirt road and gave
to me. It said the little girl searched and still couldn't find her family.”

About a good hour later Papa said, “Here we are. This is the place we’ll be
staying for the rest of our life.”

Never think that haters are not going to come. Everyone has one or more
haters, but not everyone lets them bring them down. Like in my short story
the Millers don’t let the people make then have a very bad day.
