THE DIRECTOR
“Proud parents of
Good, Godly & Blessed Children”
Imagine you are Donald Trump’s parents. You have a
president as your child. Your child won the political
primary contests and went on to win the nationwide
general elections. He or she was rewarded as the best in
election campaigning. Best in fund raising. A multi-billionaire
in dollars. Owner of a massive real estate portfolio spanning
most continents worldwide. A great successful man!
Yet at the same time a vulgar person. A liar. Very immoral. A
hater of people that are different.
Trump was very good at what he did by his methods. He
went from good, to better and became the best choice for a
majority of American voters.
He had been taught in school…and also probably by his
parents the well known rhyme:-
Tokunboh Aluko Good better best,
May we never rest,
Till our good is better -
and our better best
At Busybees and West Mills School, we are careful to teach and transform your children in a better way.
We teach them :-
Good, Godly Blessed,
May we never rest,
Till our good is Godly
And our Godly blessed!
Our prayer for your children remains the following:-
They will be good and excel and become amongst the best in both in their studies and their behaviour.
The good they pursue however MUST be turned into and embedded in Godliness. When they become
presidents and leaders they will be ruled by the principles of Godliness and be worthy role models wherever
they find themselves.
Our prayers are that your children will so stand out for their good and Godly works and they will each achieve
the purpose our God Almighty brought them into the world for. That God Almighty will then be proud to bless
them with His success in all their endeavours.
Our prayers is that you will all be proud parents of good, Godly and blessed children.
Please join us in thanking our Paramount Chairman, The Chairman of all Chairmen, our God Almighty, for yet
another very successful year, and may He give you all a well deserved summer holiday.

From the
PRINCIPAL
I have eagerly awaited this opportunity all year long—the
opportunity to pour out my heartfelt gratitude to
everyone who has contributed to the success of another
school year. As we embark on a well-deserved summer
break, I am certain that we all are proud of all of our
immense achievements over the course of the year and I
hope we can reflect on the truth that none of it would have
been possible without our shared commitment to the
advancement of Busy Bees and West Mills British Schools.
As is our tradition, our students had many opportunities to
develop and express a variety of skills and talents through our
distinctive school activities. The artistic talents on display at the
Christmas carol, Arts and Craft Exhibition and International Day were
simply matchless. We are proud of our students for putting in great performances and
showing that they are determined to emerge as fully rounded individuals. We are also grateful to our
distinguished parents for their continued support and participation.
Worthy of special mention is our visit to Omu resort at the end of the spring term. I am sure no student,
parent or teacher would be in a hurry to forget the excitement that came with news, how much effort
went into preparations and how satisfying it was at the end of it all. Not only did our students have the
opportunity to enjoy breathtaking fun at the end of a rigorous school term but they also learnt a lot
about wildlife and conservation. We cannot thank the P.T.A enough for coming up with the initiative and
for sparing no expense or effort to make it happen.
This has also been a year of rededication to academic excellence for our students and teachers. Because
we are determined that no child gets left behind, we have commenced after school lessons across all
year groups and, to the glory of God, have recorded remarkable improvements among many of the
students involved. We have also continued to encourage our students to aim for the highest possible
achievements in moral and intellectual pursuits through our frequent counseling sessions. Our teachers
have undergone series of training to ensure that they are up-to-date with the best practices in
instruction delivery. Parents can rest assured that their children will continue to receive cutting-edge
education.
Finally, I was very pleased to watch our graduating class of 2018 get sent forth into a world of
possibilities. Ali, Eli, Elissa, Gbolahan, Joshua, Reem and Adekunle- you all are wonderful people with
great potential which I am sure will begin to fully materialize as you start a new phase in your lives’
journey. I hope that you would make the best of the instructions you received from your teachers, the
blessings of your parents, and the experiences you have shared with your friends. I wish you the very
best in all you do henceforth and urge you to remain fully connected to your creator.
Thank you again to all teachers, support staff, parents, students and friends. Have a wonderful summer
break!

My favourite movie
My favourite movie is ‘Cinderella if the shoe fits’ Imagine acting in it -
what will you do? I will jump and shout hooray!
I watch it every night. I watch it in my house, my friend’s house and in
the cinema. I like this movie because it is funny and it has a lot of my
best singers in it. The girl in the movie wished to sing and then once
she went to an audition and she sang a beautiful song that
everybody fell in love with.
They choose her as the winner and she was really happy.
Then she started to make other wishes, and everything
happened. Then one day she wished to dance with
someone and it happened. I learned to go on and
wish what you want and have a brand- new
start and live your life happily ever after.
