Introduction

Type 9 Workmates WM550, WM747, WM750 & WM800 have anti-clockwise
tightening of vice jaws, due to this a number of Markets have received complaints
from their Customers regarding this unnatural tightening direction.

As a results of Market feedback a type 10 product was introduced (from date code
9741) which re-introduced clockwise tightening vice jaws.

Following various discussions between the relevant parties it has been decided that
an upgrade kit should be structured for type 9 products which will enable Customers
& Repair Agents to convert from anti-clockwise to clockwise tightening.

This Bulletin Introduces the necessary upgrade kit.

Kit Details

Upgrade Kit Part No. 376372.

Contains

2 x SA Vice Screw 807540

2 x Pivot Nut 822076.

Usage: WM550 WM747 WM750 WM800 all at type 9.

Please note:
The existing pivot nut, Part No. 820263, will still be available as a service part.
However the existing vice screw, Part No. 37098, will no longer be available,
therefore it will be necessary to use the upgrade kit if this part is required.
