People: So that at the name of Jesus everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth might bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 3 The Confession CALL TO CONFESSION Pastor Kat Hatting PRAYER OF CONFESSION Eternal God, today and always we need your provision and protection. Today and too often, we forsake the gifts you give us. When fear takes hold or hopelessness arises, we struggle to put our trust in you. Yet in your mercy, you are magnificent and mighty. In you are the keys to living and the truth of life. Pardon the sin that so easily entangles our lives. Strengthen us, as your people and your church, to be the hope of the world. In Jesus’ name we pray. Please continue in silent prayer for confession of personal matters. DECLARATION OF GOD’S PARDON Leader: Friends, believe the good news of the gospel. People: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.
