Leader: We worship a God of infinite blessings.
People: The Lord’s power and mercy are beyond our comprehension.

to the One from whom all blessings flow.
People: In each moment, the Triune God is at work in our lives and worship.
OPENING SONG
Hymn #336 We Gather Together
We gather together to ask the Lord’s blessing;
he chastens and hastens his will to make known;
the wicked oppressing now cease from distressing.
Sing praises to his name; he forgets not his own.
Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining,
ordaining, maintaining his kingdom divine;
so from the beginning the fight we were winning;
thou, Lord, wast at our side; all glory be thine!
We all do extol thee, thou leader triumphant,
and pray that thou still our defender wilt be.
Let thy congregation escape tribulation;
thy name be ever praised! O Lord, make us free!
The Confession
CALL TO CONFESSION Pastor Greg Anderson
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Eternal God, we know that your plans
are to see us thrive as people, as a community.
We seek your blessings for our lives and loved ones.
Despite our best intentions,
we confess that our ways are not always your ways.
We cut corners or put on a good face
in order to achieve our intended outcomes.
We know that we cannot hide from you
and we ask your grace in our search for meaning and fulfillment.
Remove any false ways from us
and help us be our authentic selves as we follow Jesus, in his name we pray.
Please continue in silent prayer for confession of personal matters.

The Word
WORD IN SONG The Lord’s Prayer
by Albert Hay Mallote
Our Father, which art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done,
in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

CLOSING SONG
Hymn #39 Great Is Thy Faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
there is no shadow of turning with thee.
Thou changest not; thy compassions they fail not.
As thou hast been thou forever wilt be.
Refrain: Pastor Kellen Smith
Great is thy faithfulness!
Great is thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning, new mercies I see.
All I have needed thy hand hath provided.
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!
Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,
sun, moon, and stars in their courses above
join with all nature in manifold witness
to thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love.
(Refrain)
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide,
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow:
blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
(Refrain)
