2The GatheringPRELUDE “The Summons” Arr. Mark HayesHailie Kim, Piano WELCOME Pastor Greg AndersonCALL TO WORSHIP 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 Pastor: For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”People: In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. HYMN #409 “God Is Here”

4The ConfessionCALL TO CONFESSION Pastor Kat HattingPRAYER OF CONFESSIONMerciful Lord, as we come to your Table, we confess that we have not always livedas people shaped by your self-giving love. We have received your grace, but withheld it from others. We have been nourished by your mercy, yet remained indifferent to the needs around us. We proclaim your death with our lips, but too often deny it with our lives. Forgive us, Lord. In this meal, you offer not only remembrance, but renewal. Not only symbols, but your very presence. Not only a story of love, but a call to live it. So search us and know us, we pray. Where there is pride, humble us. Where there is division, reconcile us. Where there is sin, cleanse us. As we take the bread and cup, make us once again your people: formed by your sacrifice, united in your love, and sent out to serve in your name. Please continue in silent prayer for confession of personal matters.DECLARATION OF GOD’S PARDONPastor: Friends, believe the good news of the gospel.People: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.
