CONGREGATIONAL SONG Come, People of the Risen King by Keith Getty,
Kristyn Getty and Stuart Townend
Come, people of the risen King,
Who delight to bring Him praise.
Come, all, and tune your hearts to sing
To the Morning Star of grace.
From the shifting shadows of the earth
We will lift our eyes to Him,
Where steady arms of mercy reach
To gather children in.
2
(Refrain)
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Let every tongue rejoice!
One heart, one voice,
Oh, church of Christ, rejoice!
Come, those whose joy is morning sun,
And those weeping through the night.
Come, those who tell of battles won,
And those struggling in the fight.
For His perfect love will never change,
And His mercies never cease,
But follow us through all our days
With the certain hope of peace. (Refrain)
Come, young and old from ev’ry land,
Men and women of the faith.
Come those with full or empty hands;
Find the riches of His grace.
Over all the world His people sing;
Shore to shore we hear them call –
The truth that cries through ev’ry age
“Our God is all in all!” (Refrain)

CALL TO CONFESSION Pastor Greg Anderson

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
Holy God, hear our prayer. Sometimes our lives are a mess, because of choices we
have made or because of choices others have made. Sometimes our lives are
great, and we’re kind and generous. Sometimes our lives are great and we forget
to be grateful and humble. We trust that in the midst of all of this, you are present.
We trust that you are with us, walking with us when we stray, nudging us back to
the right path, slowing us down when we get ahead of you, and waiting for us
when we lag behind. So we thank you, and ask for your forgiveness, and pray that
you will stay with us throughout the journey. In Jesus’ name we pray.
Please continue in silent prayer for confession of personal matters.
D ECLARATION OF GOD’S PARDON
Leader: Friends, believe the good news of the gospel.
People: In Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.
The Word
WORD IN SONG In Christ Alone by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend
Dan Spiegel and Kirk Ergang, Vocal duet
Paul Burgess, piano
In Christ alone my hope is found; He is my light, my strength, my song;
This cornerstone, this solid ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace, when fears are stilled, when strivings
cease!
My comforter, my all in all, here in the love of Christ I stand.
4
In Christ alone, who took on flesh, fullness of God in helpless babe!
This gift of love and righteousness, scorned by the ones he came to save.
Till on that cross as Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied;
For every sin on him was laid, here in the death of Christ I live.
There in the ground his body lay, light of the world by darkness slain.
Then bursting forth in glorious day, up from the grave he rose again!
And as he stands in victory, sin’s curse has lost its grip on me;
For I am his and he is mine, bought with the precious blood of Christ.
No guilt in life, no fear in death, this is the pow’r of Christ in me.
From life’s first cry to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny.
No pow’r of hell no human plan, can ever pluck me from his hand;
Till he returns or calls me home, here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand.
On Christ the solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.
‘Till He returns, or calls me home, here in the power of Christ I stand!

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE Pastor Greg Anderson
Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
OFFERING
Thank you for giving by text, online, or mailing your gifts into the church office.
MUSICAL OFFERING The Prayer by Carole Bayer Sager and David Foster
Arr. Lloyd Larson
Dan Spiegel and Kirk Ergang
I pray you’ll be our eyes, and watch us where we go,
And help us to be wise in time when we don’t know.
Let this be our prayer when we lose our way.
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace
To a place where we’ll be safe.
I pray we’ll find your light, and hold it in our hearts.
When stars go out each night, remind us where you are.
Let this be our prayer, when shadows fill our days.
6
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace.
Give us faith so we’ll be safe.
A world where pain and sorrow will be ended,
And every heart that’s broken will be mended.
And we’ll remember we are all God’s children,
Reaching out to touch you, reaching to the sky.
We ask that life be kind, and and watch us from above,
We hope each soul will find another soul to love.
Let this be our prayer, just like every child,
Need to find a place, guide us with your grace.
Give us faith so we’ll be safe.
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace,
Give us faith so we’ll be safe.

Daniel and the Lion’s Den
This summer series takes a closer look at
the Sunday school stories we are most
familiar with, either from teaching them
or being taught them when we were kids.
As we zoom in for a closer examination
of these stories, we will see how they fit
into God’s overall story in the Bible and
how they inform our understanding of
the gospel.
