Jaron Warren AllenMarch 25, 2001 - May 24, 2026Jaron Warren Allen, age 25, passed away May 24, 2026, in Winfield, IL. He is survived by his parents Victor Allen and Barbara Pearson and his brother Carlos. Jaron graduated from Winfield Middle School in 2015 and from West Chicago Community High School in 2019. He graduated from College of DuPage with an associates degree in paralegal studies in 2025.Jaron was diagnosed at age eight with mitochondrial disease. This affected his physical activities but he was very active socially. He met with several young adult groups, mainly Christian groups. He also volunteered regularly including at the DuPage Convalescent Center for five years.Jaron was a very friendly and outgoing young man. He always loved music, especially classic rock and Christian praise music. As a family, we attended many outdoor concerts in the summer. And recently we have enjoyed attending many community theater productions. He enjoyed playing board games with family and friends and frequently carried a deck of Uno cards with him. He loved animals, especially cats (and cat t-shirts and cat videos). When he was younger and more agile, he was an avid miniature golfer.Jaron's sudden death leaves all of his family and friends missing his joyful presence.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (umdf.org) or your favorite animal shelter.
