Further Troubleshooting

Problem: A member who has deactivated accounts attempts the Direct Connect method. He/She
tries to download transactions and receives this error message:

Quicken is currently unable to verify the financial institution information for this download.
Please try again later.

Direct the member to go back into Quicken and make sure he/she has no hidden accounts in
Quicken that he/she failed to deactivate. Double-check all the accounts to make sure that the
account number AND the financial institution fields have been deleted from each account. Then
reattempt the download.

Problem:
The member is not able to delete the name of the Financial Institution underneath Account
Details. The name of the FI is frozen or grayed out.

Solution:
Direct the member to the Online Services tab and click on Deactivate One Step Update. Then,
return to the General tab and delete the name of the financial institution.

Note: If the Direct Connect, manual download, and troubleshooting methods are unsuccessful,
fill out the Issue Reporting Form in UAD with as much information as possible. Include error
messages the member is viewing, OS and version, Quicken version, access #, and a good contact
info/times to call member. Do not advise the member that he/she will receive a call back.

Problem:

The member gets error message when attempting to update accounts EWC-DC OL-238
Mismatch, CC-501 or CC-502.

This issue is caused by using certain special characters in the account login password that are
also used in code writing, resulting in internal XML errors. These special characters are
ampersand (&), left carat (<) and right carat (>).

Solution:

Log into Navyfederal.org and update password so it does not contain any special characters.
Then change password within Quicken to reflect your new navyfederal.org password
