AUTHOR
Caroline Bretherton is a mother of two who really knows her baking. She has
worked in the food industry for the last 17 years. A love of cooking led her to start
her own catering company, which soon led to the establishment of an eatery in the
heart of London’s Notting Hill—Manna Café. She has worked extensively in television,
hosting a wide range of food programs, and in print media, contributing to, among
others, London’s The Times newspaper, as its family food writer. She has written two
books published by DK—The Kitchen Garden Cookbook and the gloriously clear and
precise baking tome Illustrated Step-by-Step Baking. Caroline lives in North Carolina
with her husband and two sons.
