3 Section B Summary Writing (15%) In not more than 150 words, write a summary on the life choices and responsibilities. Life Choices and Responsibilities A pencil is a tool that can be used on both sides: one side from writing and the other side for erasing. When you write a paragraph and make mistakes, misread, or do something wrong, you can simply erase and start over. However, pencils are the only things that provide us with multiple chances to begin again. But what about our lives? Life doesn't offer second chances. You are presented with one opportunity, one path that will determine your journey. Therefore, with every decision we make, we must be cautious, extremely cautious, and avoid regrets. When I was young, I didn't know how to make choices because of my young age. My parents chose my kindergarten, my primary school, but as I grew older and became more aware, I started selecting the books I wanted to read and the sports I enjoyed. When it came time to graduate and move on to high school, I was truly perplexed. So many subjects, what should I do? It was so confusing. While I was in this state of confusion, some suggested I should study medicine, saying it would suit someone like me. Others advised me to attend the school I had passed the entrance exam for, so I wouldn't have to worry anymore. Some even suggested going to vocational school, where I could be free and happy. It was such a dilemma. With my mind in disarray, and fearing I would miss the registration deadline, I simply thought, "Stop worrying and just pick one." So, I chose to study medicine. It seemed like a carefree option, avoiding the hardships of university and daily exams. But after graduating, I regretted my choice. I felt like I had made the wrong decision. But what could I do? I couldn't have another chance to choose like a pencil. I couldn't regret it. I had chosen my path, and I couldn't blame anyone else. So, only I knew my own struggles, only I knew that because of my wrong choice, I had to work even harder, study even harder than others. Now, I understand, truly understand. From now on, I can only rely on myself. The pocket money won't be given by my parents anymore; I have to earn it myself. I have to work hard on my own, without relying on others. I have to manage my own life, so my parents don't have to worry anymore. If I want to study, I have to spend my own money on education. Basically, I have to shoulder everything by myself. It's my life, and I'm the one in charge! But above all, I must never make a lifelong regrettable mistake. Life is a long journey, and it can be considered long or short. Everyone wants to live a good life, everyone wants to live a fulfilling life, but not everyone can achieve their dreams. When making decisions, you must carefully consider the path you want your life to take, so you won't have lifelong regrets. Choosing the right path makes life beautiful, so let's take responsibility for our own lives together! (https://www.englishdaily626.com)
