Message from the Principal

It is with thanks to God Almighty that I warmly
welcome the publication of our booklet,
“MEMOIR”, for Grade 6 students of the academic
year 2021-2022. I appreciate the hard work of
the team of teachers as well as the contributions
from Grade 6 students that have gone into
producing this booklet. This booklet provides our
graduates with a to place to store their profiles,
activities, messages, and memories for the years
they studied at Taman Rama Primary School.

When the Covid -19 pandemic hit this country,
face-to-face learning was stopped abruptly.
Thankfully, with the help of technology, we have
been able to carry out the learning process
online in a meaningful way, just like during
offline learning.

However, as time passed, we realized that even though online learning was being
conducted effectively, it cannot be compared to meeting students face-to-face at
school. I sincerely hope that our students did not experience 'loss of learning' or
any academic setback as a result of this situation. As students, you also need to
socialize and interact with your friends in order to learn the importance of
respect, cooperation and sharing with others. We were happy to welcome you all
to learn at school again so that you could develop these skills further.

To the parents of Grade 6 students, we would like to express our deepest
gratitude for your trust in placing your child’s education in the hands of Taman
Rama Primary School. Thank you for your unwavering support for the school up
to this point.

To the graduates, thank you for all the opinions you offered of your experiences.
They can be used as reference materials to improve the quality of education in our
school. We hope that this booklet will not only be a memory but that it will also
inspire you in the future. The advice offered to you by our school is to grow up to
be intelligent children with character by applying the values o​ f Pancasila in your
daily lives. As the saying goes, "Finding smart people is easy, but looking for
honest people with character is difficult." Congratulations on your graduation and

Notes

Shawn Tristan Wibowo Hello, my name is Shawn. It is an honour to represent my friends from Grade
6A by writing this farewell note. Studying at Taman Rama School has been a
great journey for all of us. We have been studying for six years and we have
learnt so much during this time.
During our years at Taman Rama, we have experienced so many ups and
down moments in the process of learning. It is all thanks to our beloved
teachers for their guidance and patience that we were able to create
beautiful moments which are happy, sad and heart-warming. These moments
cannot be erased and we will remember them for all of our lives.

We all apologise for our behaviour which may, at times, have been rude or naughty and made our
teachers feel sad or disappointed in us.
Now, my friends and I are going to continue to a higher level. We will try to use all of the lessons that
we learnt in SD Taman Rama. We will remember and implement the lessons that our beloved
teachers taught us. We will always remember every memory of our journey. Thank you once again to
our teachers for helping us to create these memories.

Hello! I am Jyesta from Class 6B. I am so happy that I get to share with you how wonderful my years

at Taman Rama SD have been. I learnt a lot of things and made a lot of memories and friends.

Thanks to the millions of homework assignments given by the teachers, I learnt to become more

disciplined. It also helped me to improve my skills in English, specifically my vocabulary and grammar.

Thanks to my friends, I learnt that it is important to be a loyal, kind and empathetic friend.

I have a lot of special memories from SD, but I particularly loved it when

every year, my class decorated the classroom for Christmas. It was such fun

and it really felt like we were siblings working together.

I want to thank all of my teachers who taught me many lessons over the

years, the school staff and the school principal, Ms. Ketut. I also want to

thank my friends who added so much joy and colour to my life. You all made

sure that I had a great time at school and I could not be more thankful to

This is because every day I come to
school I feel like I am progressing to

make myself better.
Also, I realized there are a lot of
things that I haven't learned. These
things provoke me to learn more
about the things I haven't yet
explored and about the future.
Besides my studies, I also realized
that it's important to spend time with
yourself and your friends. This is very
important so that you don't feel
stressed out. Furthermore, whenever
I made a mistake, my teachers helped
me to understand that it's okay to
make mistakes and to not focus on
the failure but the progress. This

The reason for being okay is

because I met new friends and

they are fun. On the other side, I

didn't get good report cards soon I

will graduate from elementary

My teachers helped me to do my

best in class. They use fun ways to

teach so that students don't get

bored. Although, I still have to

find my way to feel comfortable

and enjoy myself while studying.

Specific subjects that are hard, are

‘IMPROVE’




This is because every day, month,

grade, and semester, I improve my

skills and learn new things. Also, my

teachers told me that don't need to fast

and answer quickly. My teachers said it

is more important to take my time and

get the correct answer.

I will miss having fun like in the old

days with my friends and teachers

while playing sports. I will also miss my

friends when I go to the next chapter in

my life; JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. I will miss

having fun in subjects like science with

my friends.

And lastly, I will miss all of my

‘FUNNY’




This is because every day my friends

always made funny jokes which

made the subjects more interesting. It

also made the subjects fun and easier

to learn or remember. Even if the joke

was bad my friend tried to make it

funny and made me laugh.

good jokes too, which made their

took me to the office. She left me
to call my father to pick me up. I
thought at first that the school
didn't have any telephone to let us

when I was in Grade 3, I quit my
first extra-curricular activity to
play basketball. I often forgot to
bring my basketball to school, as a

complete facility. They let me
borrow the basketballs from school

and return them after practice.

and homework. I think that when I meet
teachers and friends it's really nice to be
able to communicate and play together.
When it is a weekday, I always think about
school. Why? It is because school is where I

always excited to do exercises, play, tell

stories, and joke.
At recess, I enjoy eating together with my
friends. That is the most exciting part of the
school. My favourite thing about school is
drawing on the whiteboard. I always draw

I chose the word dramatic because

I experienced many ups and downs

during my time at school. I had

some fun and exciting times, but at

feel stressed and anxious.

describe my school. Why
‘inspiring’?

This is because school is a place
filled with education and care for
students, which makes the school
and teachers in it, very inspiring.
For example, the teachers stay at
school for hours to teach children

life. They helped me learn things

that were new and inspiring
which will come in handy in the

future.
