Father, Son Paradox

I was bored at my dad’s lab, so I decided to take a look

around. My dad is a scientist and has a very
interesting workplace. I saw acid, test tubes, and lots
of chemical liquids. Then something caught my eye.
“Volcanic tar: DO NOT TOUCH,” read the label. “Well,
it says touch, so I might as well touch it,” I thought.
My hand was about an inch from the “Volcanic Tar”
when my dad yelled, “DON’T TOUCH THAT!” That just
made me want to touch it even more. I stuck my hand
in it. That’s all I remember. When I woke up 5 years
later, the volcanic tar had burned off my arm and
replaced it with tar. From that moment, I could
manipulate my right arm to turn into anything I want.



Since that day, all I could think about was going back in
time to eliminate a man named John Dickson’s parents,
so he can never be born. But I don’t know why. I put my
plan in action. I used my radioactive hand to create a
black hole to throw me back in time to the early 2000s
and eliminated his parents. But I failed. I didn’t go back
far enough and years later John Dickson became the
greatest superhero alive. He went by the name
Ragnarok. Once he figured out who eliminated his
parents, his life goal was to destroy me. That day I
decided to get away from all the confusion and take a
tour of the Statue of Liberty in New York City. However,
what I didn’t know was that Ragnarok was using his
super intelligent technology to track me down, and he
was on his way to my location at that very moment...



I was standing on the elevator on The Statue and
out of nowhere the window to the elevator was
completely shattered. The next thing I knew I was
flying across the ocean with some random guy’s
fist in my hand. “Hey,” I said. “I was enjoying that

tour.” I was furious. I shattered every bone in his

hand. Wait a minute, I realized. This is no random
guy, it’s Ragnarok! He used a random power and
threw me straight into the Statue of Liberty
without even touching me.



I laid there in shock at how powerful he’d become
since back then. Without waiting for me to move,
Ragnarok sped straight towards me and stopped.
He pulled out some kind of suckage device and
stuck the needle into my skin. Then he disappeared.
Surprised, I looked around searching for him and
found him speeding down the street with my DNA.
Then suddenly he stopped. He looked as if he’d
seen something he didn’t want to. I took advantage
of his careless mistake and used my hand to liquefy
my body and zoomed after him. I appeared in front
of him. I was angry!



Still liquefied, I stuck my hand into Ragnarok’s
head. “Any last words,” I asked him. “You are my
father,” he said awkwardly. Then, he stood silently.
Extremely confused, I solidified my hand and
expanded it slowly. Ragnarok’s head was slowly
bursting because he couldn’t handle the pressure.
And then, BOOM! Pieces of his head flew
everywhere. I turned around wanting to get home
before anything else happened.



“Hey, I’m not finished with you,” said a voice from
behind. I turned around. “But…but…how. Impossible,” I
said. “I have a regeneration factor, fool.” I stood in
shock. “I guess I have to repeat myself,” He continued,
“You are my father. We have the exact same DNA.” At
that moment, it all came back to me. A secret
organization brainwashed me to take out Ragnarok’s
parents. They thought I succeeded but I instead I killed
his foster parents because I was his real father. It was all
so clear now. But we had to find the guy who
brainwashed me. The real fight was about to begin.
Meanwhile, elsewhere a plan was being put into action…

My plan has been
comprised. Take
them both out before
they realize the truth.
