Hi guys,
Well, the Christmas countdown has officially started in my
house! We put up the tree and I have given Mum, Dad (and
Santa!) my official wish list... I hope they all remember how
good I've been this year! We're also celebrating the holiday
season in this issue of It GiRL. Our mini Christmas special starts
on page 22 and includes really cute cut-out gift tags. Also this
month two super-exciting things happened to me... first I got
to attend the launch of the new book series, Nevermoor and
I was lucky enough to meet the author of the books, Jessica
Townsend. She was so cool and really friendly, it was a fun
night. Oh, and if you turn to page 50 you can read a sneak
peek from the first book in the series, The Trials of Morrigan
Crow. I think you guys will really like it. And the second totally

mag. I had to go to hospital to have my tonsils taken

My mum put me in dance classes and I did
ballet and tap and I hated it,” she recalls.
Soni wanted to stop the lessons but her
mum made her finish off the year. “Strangely
enough over the next few months I started
enjoying it and I’ve been dancing ever
since.” Through her passion for dance, Soni
started landing television commercials and
gigs, and by the time she was a teenager she
was also taking part in competitive dance
challenges. “I would say hip hop is
my favourite style of dance. It is the style
I dance most often and the one I feel more
comfortable dancing.”
