It was my school’s sports carnival day and
I was about to run the relay race. I was
standing at the start line waiting for the
race to begin and I was daydreaming.
I thought I heard the starter so I started
sprinting as fast as I could. Suddenly
I realised that I was the only one running,
so I turned my head to see where
everyone else was. As I looked back
I tripped and stumbled over my own feet
which just made the whole situation even
more embarrassing! My friends still remind
me of that race every now and then!

I was at the park with my mum and my My brother and I were at our cousin’s

I was in church with my family and my mum
got up to go to the toilet. While she was out
her phone started to ring. The pastor stopped
talking and said, “I’ll give you a minute to get
that.” Everyone in the church turned to see
who it was while I was frantically searching
through my mum’s bag trying to find her
phone. To make matters worse my dad loudly
whispered, “Amelia, hurry up and switch it off!”
so everyone knew exactly who to look at! It
was so embarrassing. Thanks, mum!

PIGGY PROBLEM

I was sitting next to my bestie in class and
she was doodling in her book. I looked
down and saw she had drawn a cute
little pig. I don’t know why but I found it so
funny, and I was trying so hard to hold my

LIVING HER DREAM


Born in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada,
Anna Cathcart has always wanted to act.
“It has been a dream of mine since I was little,
but I never thought it could be a reality for me
and that it could be something I could do for
real!” Anna’s first acting role was in the 2016
television series, Odd Squad where she played
Agent Olympia. Then in 2017 she won a role
on the Disney Channel movie Descendants
2 as Dizzy Tremaine. Dizzy is the daughter of
Cinderella’s step-sister, Drizella Tremaine, which
also makes her Cinderella’s step-niece. In 2018
Anna starred as Kitty Covey in the Netflix film,
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, and earlier
this year she took on the role of Zoe in the
new web series, Zoe Valentine.

DISNEY DARLING

Anna joined the Descendants family in
the second film and will also be starring
in the third, but she still can’t believe how
lucky she is to be a part of it all. “I was
a huge fan of Descendants when it first
came out in 2015,” she revealed. ”It’s
so cool that I get to be a part of it now.
Honestly, I still can’t believe it!” She totally
loves playing the role of Dizzy Tremaine,
too. “She’s very positive, creative, and
expresses herself through fashion,” Anna
says about the character. “She looks on
the bright side and is happy and perky.
I love playing that sort of character. She
wasn’t in the best situations growing up,
but she didn’t let it beat her down.”
