My brother and I were playing at the
playground when my brother dared
me to climb to the top of the monkey
bars. So I climbed up, but when I
got to the top I was too scared to
come down again. I burst into tears
and was crying with my mouth open
and everything and everyone was
staring at me. Then my dad came to
my rescue and helped me down. My
brother teased me for days about the
whole thing. It was so embarrassing.

My most embarrassing moment happened My family and I were going on holiday
at my friend’s pool party. We were all to America and it was my first time on an

STAIR STUMBLE



Last Christmas I was shopping with my mum
and brother and the shops were really busy.
We were going down the escalator when
I thought I saw my friend going up the other
escalator. I turned really quickly to see if it was
her, when I lost my balance and fell down the
moving stairs! My brother tried to catch me
but he didn’t and I landed in a heap at the
bottom. Luckily we weren’t that high up, but
it was still so embarrassing and I ended up
hurting my knee. The worst.

I was running the 100-metre final at our
school athletics carnival when suddenly
the elastic in my shorts snapped and I got
the biggest wedgie ever. I tried to adjust
myself while running but it was too hard

Born in Galveston Island, Texas, USA, Nicole
Alyse Nelson was three when she first showed
an interest in acting when she would act out
the movies she’d watch. “I always wanted to
act,” revealed the star. “I was an only child
growing up and when I would watch things I
really, really liked, I would act out the scene
from every single character’s perspective.”
At age 13 Nicole joined her school’s theatre
department. “I got into theatre in middle
school,” she explains. “I never got really big
parts in theatre so although I was passionate
about it, I had to find other ways to learn and
get my creativity out.” So she started creating

If you’ve seen the original animated film
then you know that the story is about a
street rat called Aladdin. After he frees
a genie from a magic lamp, Aladdin is

to get Princess Jasmine to fall in love
with him. The new live-action movie has
pretty much stuck to the same storyline,

here and there in order to give the film
ALADDIN a fresh, modern update.
