My bestie’s netball team was down
a player so she asked me if I could fill
in this one time. I had never played
netball before in my life, but because
I’m kind of sporty my bestie said I’ll
be fine. During the game I was very
nervous but everything was going
okay until I had to go into the centre
to defend and faced the wrong way.
I ended up letting the other team
through to get a goal. Oops! I haven’t
played since, but that’s probably for

One day I was shopping with my mum and
was drinking a slushie that I had just bought.
I was in a crowded shop when all of a sudden
I dropped my slushie and it went all over me
and all over the floor. I have no idea why
I dropped the drink, but I don’t know what
was more embarrassing, the fact that I was
covered in bright red slushie or my mum yelling,
“Clarissa!” really loudly in the store. I was so
embarrassed and mum yelling just made it all
so much worse because people turned to see!
