Parasaurolophus

Parasaurolophus is a genus of herbivorous
ornithopod dinosaur that lived in what is now
North America and possibly Asia during the
Late Cretaceous Period, about 76.5–73 million
years ago. It was an herbivore that walked
both as a biped and as a quadruped.

Height: 4.9 m
Mass: 2,700 – 3,600 kg
Length: 10 – 11 m
Lived: 83.5 million years ago - 70.6
million years ago (Campanian)
Extinct in: Cretaceous–Paleogene
extinction event
Fossils: PMU 24921, ROM 768, FMNH
P27393, NMMNH P-25100, BYU 2467

Stegosaurus

Stegosaurus, from Greek stegos,
which means roof, and sauros,
which means lizard, is a genus of
herbivorous thyreophoran
dinosaur.

Lived: 163.5 million years ago - 100.5 million years
ago (Late Jurassic - Albian)
Speed: 7 km/h (Maximum)
Scientific name: Stegosaurus (Roof lizard or
covered lizard)
Eats: Cycad, Moss
Eaten by: Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Torvosaurus

Triceratops

Triceratops is a genus of herbivorous ceratopsid dinosaur
that first appeared during the late Maastrichtian stage of the
late Cretaceous period, about 68 million years ago in what is
now North America.

Eaten by: Tyrannosaurus
Height: 2.9 – 3 m
Length: 7.9 – 9 m
Mass: 6,000 – 12,000 kg
Eats: Cycad, Palm trees
Fossils: Yoshi's Trike, AMNH
5039, Kelsey, Raymond, Hatcher

Ankylosaurus

Ankylosaurus is a genus of armored
dinosaur. Its fossils have been found in
geological formations dating to the very end
of the Cretaceous Period, about 68–66
million years ago, in western North America,
making it among the last of the non-avian
dinosaurs.

million years ago - 100.5 million years ago (Late
Jurassic - Albian)
Speed: 7 km/hLived3.5 (Maximum)
Scientific name: Stegosaurus (Roof lizard or
covered lizard)
Eats: Cycad, Moss
Eaten
by: Allosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Torvosaurus

Tyrannosaurus

Tyrannosaurus is a genus of coelurosaurian
theropod dinosaur. The species
Tyrannosaurus rex, often called T. rex or
colloquially T-Rex, is one of the most well-
represented of these large theropods.

Eaten by: Tyrannosaurus
Height: 3.7 – 6.1 m
Speed: Tyrannosaurus rex:
27 km/h
Mass: 4,500 – 14,000 kg
Eats: Triceratops, Edmontosau
rus, Corythosaurus, Tyrannosa
urus

Velociraptor

Velociraptor is a genus of dromaeosaurid
theropod dinosaur that lived approximately
75 to 71 million years ago during the latter
part of the Cretaceous Period. Two species are
currently recognized, although others have
been assigned in the past.

Speed: Velociraptor mongoliensis:
40 km/h
Lived: 100.5 million years ago - 66
million years ago (Cretaceous -
Maastrichtian)
Scientific name: Velociraptor (Swift
seizer)
Extinction status: Extinct Encyclopedia
of Life
Eats: Protoceratops, Shuvuuia
Fossils: Ichabodcraniosaurus, IGM
100/981, IGM 100/982, GIN 100/25

nDiplodocus

Diplodocus is a genus of diplodocid
sauropod dinosaurs whose fossils
were first discovered in 1877 by S.
W. Williston.

Eaten by: Torvosaurus
Lived: 161.2 million years ago - 145
million years ago (Oxfordian -
Tithonian)
Extinction
status: Extinct Encyclopedia of Life
Scientific name: Diplodocus
(Double beam)
Higher classification: Diplodocinae

Spinosaurus

Spinosaurus is a genus of spinosaurid
dinosaur that lived in what now is North
Africa during the Cenomanian to upper
Turonian stages of the Late Cretaceous
period, about 99 to 93.5 million years

ago.

Height: 4.3 – 7 m
Mass: 6,400 – 7,500 kg
