Multiple-tier Timelines

Multiple-tier timelines use two or more rows of events. While each row
represents a different subject, the time period is the same.
Multiple-tier timelines can be used to help us look at cause and effect
relationships or patterns and themes among events in a specific period
of time.
We will be using a multi-tier timeline to show the rise and fall of four
early civilizations in the Americas: The Mississippian, Inca, Maya, and
Aztec and look for RELATIONSHIPS between the dates.

The Mississippian people were a great civilization that lived in the present-day United
States area. These ancient people demonstrated unique skills in many ways, To begin they had
different economics which is jobs than us. Some of the people in the Mississippian tribe were
farmers and that was a really important job for everyone sake. and hunter and that was also
crucial to them. Another one they did is that they built mounds. One very famous mound they
built was called serpent mound. It is basically in the name it is a mound-shaped as a serpent, and
it basically had a serpent-shaped head and a tail. In the mounds, they had layers of rock, clay, and
dirt which helped it to stay put and not break. Finally, They had different foods and agriculture
some of the foods that they grew was corn and beans which they ate for survival. Another two
things that they grew was an orange pumpkin and some squash

In addition to, there interesting mounds and their helpful jobs Also there was their
agriculture. The Mississippian people were also greatly impacted by where they live. While
Mississippian tribes lived throughout much of the present-day United States, they
originated in the area we currently know as central Georgia. This area provided warm
temperatures and a long growing season. They grew communal food such as corn,
beans, squash, and pumpkins. The area was also heavily forested. They were able to
use the wood to create the walls of their homes as well as fences around their
community to protect the people. They used the long grasses which grew on the land to
create thatched roofs to shelter the families. A final way that the Mississippian people
used their environment for survival was through hunting. A wide variety of animals lived
in the area and the people were able to easily hunt for deer, elk, and geese for food and
clothing. There were also many rivers and lakes around the Mississippian settlements
which led to fishing as another means to get food for the people. Clearly, the location of
the early Mississippian people had a significant impact on their lives. The people had
both a powerful and purposeful relationship with their environment.

getting sacrificed was winning in a game, and yes you read that right you will get
sacrificed by winning. It was like that because it was a pleasure to the become
sacrificed for the gods. Also, one thing was that taking a shower once a day so
they needed aqueduct because they were a big tribe. One thing about there
religion was making temples. Another thing about their religion is that they used
the sunstone as a calendar. That was I learned about the Aztecs
