Westminster, SC

Brief Description
This 12,500 sf Design-Build
renovation / addition
project was designed by
Good City Architects.

The addition involved Exterior View - Front
almost doubling the
capacity of the sanctuary
by demolishing the
sidewalls and adding a
connecting space to each
side of the building. A rear
two story connecting
addition provided increased
classroom space and a
choir rehearsal room.

Existing classrooms
and offices were fully
renovated and the building
was retrofitted with a new
fire sprinkler system, new
pews, and an audio-visual
system.

Brief Description
This 21,000 sf renovation
and expansion of the
existing building involves a
new free-standing Pro Shop
and outdoor dining porch.
Some of the renovations
included updating the
building façade to cedar
shakes and stone accents
to give the building a more
rustic “lakeside lodge”
appeal.

Sapphire Valley Country Club

Sapphire, NC

Brief Description
Partially destroyed by a
propane explosion, this 18,000 sf
country club is currently being
rebuilt and re-attached to the
existing facility. The rebuild and
renovation consisted of new
dining facilities, administrative
facilities, freezer facilities, as
well as the guest areas, dining
room, kitchen, lobby, and stage
area.

Brief Description Exterior View - Front
The Centerville Church
of God was commissioned
in 2012 to accommodate
a growing congregation.
The Sanctuary is 5,700 sf
in size with an additional
1,600 sf making up the
covered drive-thru canopy.
Completed in 2013, the job
required preliminary site
work and more parking was
added to accommodate
weekly services.

Starbucks in Cooper Library

Clemson, SC

Brief Description Interior View - Front
Awarded in August of 2016,
the Starbucks project in the
Cooper Library involved a
two-story renovation of the
existing space on the library’s
fifth floor. Possessing a
difficult schedule, the work
required extensive temporary
walls for sound and dust
control while the library
was in use. The project
also involved strategic
coordination between the
owners, Starbucks, their
design team, and equipment
suppliers. The project was
completed ahead of schedule.
