SHAHZWAN
All the way from Johor
Bahru. I'm so deep even
the ocean gets jealous.
Peace !
UQBA MOSQUE
The Arabic architecture
here is truly inspiring,
and the skyline is full of
skinny minarets and
bulky domes. But it's
probably the back alleys
of the city's medina that
steal the show
GREAT MOSQUE
A hypostyle mosque
that also reflects how
pre-Islamic and eastern
Islamic art and motifs
were incorporated into
the religious
architecture of Islamic
North Africa.
EL DJEM
This incredibly well-
preserved Roman relic
is Tunisia's big
sightseeing highlight,
one of the most
popular things to do on
day trips from the
coastal resorts, and one
of the best examples of
amphitheater
architecture left
standing in the world.
SOUQ,
KAIROUAN
This lovely old town district is a warren of
looping lanes, rimmed by whitewashed
houses, and a shopping paradise with a
tempting selection of ceramics,
leatherwork, and metalwork on display.
MONASTIR RIBAT
Topped with its crenulated
parapets and red stone
bulwarks, is unquestionably
the major attraction in town.
BAB EL BHAR
A city gate in Tunis, the
capital of Tunisia. It
marks the separation
between the Medina of
Tunis and the European
city.
RIBAT, SOUSSE
The most ancient Muslim
monument in North
Africa. Its square
courtyard is surrounded
by arches and cells for
provisions.
THANK
YOU
