You may be a bit nervous about the journey you are embarking on, but I can
assure you it is totally worth it. Take it at your own pace! Don’t be afraid to
ask for help and be patient! The key to growing your business is enjoying

Welcome to the SeneGence® Sisterhood!

You’re a distributor now what?

Okay, these are just suggestions. Of course, I want you to do what will work
best for you. These are just some helpful hints that have helped my team
succeed with their business.

 Create a business name! Show your creative side. Don’t be afraid to
think outside of the box! Never use the actual words LipSense® or
SeneGence® in your actual business name. Use Independent
SeneGence® Distributor in addition to your name. Ex: “Love Your
Lips by MaryLynn – Independent SeneGence® Distributor.”

 Build your stock! This will be different for everyone. There is no set
amount that I will suggest for this because some may be able to
purchase more than others.

Discount structure your $55 membership gets you:

Remember that your discount level resets back to 20% on the 1st of
each month.

Remember that a difference of a few PV could mean a huge difference in the
amount that you pay and an even bigger difference in the profit you can
make! When ordering add and remove colors/glosses to see the difference
between final pricing with discounts before pushing the submit button.

 Create a Facebook group! Some may suggest a Facebook page but
for us a group is easier to engage with customers and potential
customers. You will want to post in your group often and don’t get
discouraged if there isn’t much activity at first. Once your
customers realize how amazing the products are they will be more
excited and engaged. Don’t copy and paste, try to create your own
images and go LIVE!! Your friends and family want to see you. Be
REAL! Make your first post an image of LipSense®, your second
post of you wearing the product and your third post a live video
describing your “why” you are selling SeneGence®.

 Create a separate email. We all have the one email account that is
cluttered with tons of spam and emails we NEVER open. Create
yourself an email with your business name that you will use strictly
to communicate with your team and customers.

 Order business cards and other marketing materials. You can
either create your own or pre-designed ones. Just be sure you are
following distributor guidelines. Business cards are a must, but it is
also good to have other marketing materials like application cards
and thank you cards. It looks even better when everything
matches.

 Read Joni’s book! In your distributor kit you received a book called
Million Dollar Lips. This was written by our CEO. It’s a great read
and full of wonderful information.

 Sign up for Square and Paypal! This will allow you to send
invoices, accept credit cards payments, and manage your finances.
I will send you a referral link, so you will receive $1000 in free
processing fee’s through square. I use both, so it is completely up
to you.

 Set your goals! Be a goal digger
 Tell EVERYONE! You’re a SeneGence® Distributor!!!!

FACEBOOK

Okay. I have a whole page just for Facebook which is the best way for you to
market your business.

You will want to create a catchy name for your group. Try and find one that
you love and won’t want to change. If you do want to change it later down
the line it isn’t the end of the world. Just try not to change your name every
other week. Pick one and try to stick with it.

You have a group for a reason. Don’t post everything on your personal page.
Of course, it’s a good idea to post here and there on your personal page but
you want people to engage in your group.

Public Group VS Closed Group

With a public group you are more likely to reach more people. The public
group will allow anyone to see the content including search engines. In a
closed group only, your members will be able to view your post and you will
have to approve your members.

Don’t be afraid to add everyone to the group. Even if you’re not sure if
they’ll like the product. Add them! They may not know that you’re a
distributor and will buy from someone else. It has happened to me.

Add a cute image explaining your new journey, why you are doing it and give
your friends the option to leave! Say something along the lines of “I just
thought you would love this product so much that I wanted to give you a
chance to be part of my group. If you already have a LipSense® Distributor
or you are not interested, then please unfollow this group and I promise my
feelings won’t be hurt!”

Get your group members engaged by playing games, posting funny pictures
or asking questions.

Challenge your customers to post selfies wearing the product!

Live Videos!

This is an amazing creation by Facebook. Pick a day and time to go live every
week! This is a great way to engage with your customers. Try to stay
consistent with your date and time for videos. Do an application video and
get creative. Check out these apps that allow you to schedule posts to your
Facebook.

Marketing!

This will make you or break you! Where do you see yourself in a year with
SeneGence®?

There are many ways to market your business for FREE!

 Social Media We have already talked about Facebook but don’t forget
you can use Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, Etc. There are three things
to think about when using social media for marketing content, audience,
and exposure.

1. Content – You will want to create new content for you to

post. Try to post 6 new pieces of content a week. Post videos,
pictures, customer testimonials, deals, etc.

~Use the 5 to 1 rule. 5 Personal (photos of you, your
kids, fun graphics) and 1 pushing the sale of your
product. Don’t blow up your feed with the same content
as other distributor, be real and genuine.

2. Audience – It is important to remember who your audience

is. For example, if your group is full of people who love
Disney post things that will catch their attention. Remember
to constantly build your audience!

3. Exposure – Expose our products! You’ve got to talk about

the product daily. This well be how you generate your leads.
Spotlight a different product every couple of days.

 Your Hands Swatch colors on your hands. This isn’t your traditional
marketing technique, but you will get asked about it all day. When
you’re asked about it, you’ve for the floor. Tell them all about it and
whip out your business card! If you have testers, here’s the perfect
chance to use them!

 Word of mouth You just have to talk about your business to people.
Meeting up with friends for lunch? Don’t be afraid to talk about you
business. Share what you love the most about it. Let them try it out of
the testers you have available. Make sure you are wearing colors

CURRENTLY in stock, not “retired” colors. Otherwise you will be
trying to track down colors.

 Your customers Your customers are a great marketing tool. Build a
good relationship with all of your customers because you want them to
refer you to their friends and family. ALWAYS follow up with your
customers, ALWAYS! Ask them if they have any questions, if they
would like any more products, etc. Nine times of out 10 they will want
more and then ALWAYS offer the SeneGence® choice and get
building your team.

Now let’s talk about some marketing that will cost you but won’t break the
bank!

 Host launch party! Invite your closest friends and family. Put together
some yummy treats. Have a blast. This is the opportunity for you to
show the product off and let your biggest supporters try it out! You can
also host launch party on Facebook.

 Take a friend out for coffee or lunch! Spend some one on one time with
a potential client. You get to talk about your business and share the
wonderful products.

 Reward your customers! There are several options here, just remember
don’t go broke doing it. Offer a free gift for purchases over a certain
amount (the gift can be as simple as a free makeup bag) Remember if
you offer a discount, SeneGence® policy is to allow only 15%!

 Marketing Materials! We touched on this a little already but this is
important. You want people to take your business serious so you have
to make it serious. Having a business card s a must but it’s also a good
thing to have cards/flyers on the application process, LipSense® Tips
and Tricks, Thank you cards, and loyalty cards.

7 Tips to Success

1. Reach out to everyone. If someone likes your post message them

(even if you don’t know them.) Message old friends from college!
Follow up with your customers. Some will ignore you, some will say
no, but some will say YES!

2. If someone acts interested but scared to order without trying first

meet them one on one so they can test it out!

3. If you reached out to someone and they said it’s not the right timing

wait a month or two and give it another shot. Don’t be pushy, just let
them know you are still here if they are interested.

4. Whether people interact or not they are watching you! Keep posting!

Make lost of videos.

5. Share your success story. This is a perfect topic for your first live

video in your group.

6. Reach out to your customers to join your team. $55 for a makeup

membership! You did it why shouldn’t they? Ask them if they want
to pay retail or wholesale.

7. Post once a week about either hosting a party or joining your team!

Vendor events

Search for vendor events in your area. Some will have a fee for set up but
from time to time you may find free events. This will be a great
opportunity for you to network with new people and gain potential clients.
Check out your community centers, town facebook pages, churches, civic
organizations, etc.
Your table set up should be warm and welcoming.

Don’t forget your business cards and testers! Have the customer try on
their hands first before applying to their lips. You can find disposable
lipstick applicators on Amazon. Some distributors only allow them to test
on their hands. This is completely up to you. It is also a good idea to have
a clipboard with a sign up sheet. This will allow you to get names, emails,
and phone numbers of potiential clients.

Ways to make money!!!
1. Personal Sales: up to 50% profit from discount structure.
2. Downline commissions.

3. Group Sales Volume Bonuses.

SeneCard and SeneCar

All commissions, group volume bonuses and car payments will be loaded on
your SeneCard. Go to

Make sure you set your retention level according to how much of your
earnings you want to keep with SeneGence®. Remember that YOU are
responsible for paying taxes, social security, etc. Talk with a tax consultant to
determine your amount.

 Earn $250 towards any blue car of your choice by leading your first line of
distributors to $22,500 in QV in a rolling 3-month period.

 Earn an additional $250 by building your second line with the same
requirements.

 Personal PV of 750 is required to qualify.

This is just a guide. You will find that every party will be different, and you
will find a method that works best for you.

Two days before the party starts have your hostess post something like this.

“This is an ONLINE party! You don’t have to go anywhere or get dressed
up. You can sit at home in your PJ’s, with your favorite snack and a glass of

wine. You get to shop, win prizes and have fun!!”

The day before the party introduce yourself.

For your in-home parties you will want to have testers for the guests to try!
Be ready to talk about the products.
