A = 0-8 : No Change (0)
B = 9 - 14 : Minus One (1)
C = 15 and up - Minus Two (2)

Ÿ Members to update Jeanne on any change of contact

Ÿ Chino trousers are not allowed to be worn during play and

visitors to wear a jacket and tie for prize giving.

Ÿ We are playing “Ready Golf” not “Speedy Golf”
Ÿ Please adhere to Nomads Dress Code - only recognised

Good day fellow Nomads,

Thanks to the 43 Nomads that took part in our
Monthly game at Walmer Golf Club.
Fortunately the rain held off bar the last few who only had 2 or 3
holes to play.
The rain was most welcome for our parched courses
The course played well and we didn't have to wait for the people in
front of us and those behind us also had a non-stop round.

Thanks to Wouter van Eck for partnering with me.
It is becoming a bit of a problem where winners of the day leave
their prizes lying around, forget them and they then go missing.
Gents please look after these as we can't be held liable for missing
items. This extends to clothes, bags etc.
One of the key factors for our allocations to Nationals are the
percentage of Full members playing per monthly game.

Captains News

Currently we have 18 places in the Nationals
allocations but if we don't improve our monthly
attendance that number will drop. Just
something to think about as next year Nationals
will be held at East London and I'm sure more than 18 will want to
attend. Let's push for better numbers at our games and improve
our allocations for 2020.

Again thanks to all part taking in our February game at Walmer and
I hope to see more of you at Uitenhage on 31st March 2019

Good day Fellow Nomads

The game at Walmer Golf Club went off well with the 2 tee
start, thanks to Gavin and his staff at W.G.C. for a good
golfing day. One thing I learned with the new rule's is
don't putt with the flag in as it didn't help.

Thanks to all Nomads and guest's that assisted the prize-giving for going
off so well. It was done quick and well done to Mr. Morrick for a good fine's
session.

Thanks to the ladies for doing the registration for us.

Fellow Nomads, guests and friends I thank you for joining us at our AMT
Golf Day on the 22nd February 2019.

Congratulation to the winners Jason Aitken and Wayne Iverson. Thanks to
Mr. Clack for assisting us with the auction, and to the people who won the
auctions on the night.

I think it went off well and was supported by all, thanks to my AMT
committee for all the effort that was put in to host the day.

A big thank you to all the sponsor's, the P.E. Golf Club and the catering
staff.

So far in total we raised about 65K for Lake Farm, the hand over will be on
the 12th April at our Wedgewood game. In that I say thank you all who
attended and supported us through the year, thanks to the ladies on the
day.

Nomad’s Notebook

A reminder to members of important information and upcoming events

Late withdrawal from Monthly and Special Games
-members are requested to notify Jean of their intended withdrawal before 17h00 on a Friday
before a game or be liable for the green fees. NO MEMBERS may enter or withdraw on behalf
of other members!

Payments
-Would all Nomads doing EFT or bank deposits please use your name as a reference.
Cheques to be made out to: Nomads Golf Club Eastern Cape

Divisional Trophies
-Those members who have been victorious at a monthly game are urged to return their divisional
trophies to the Equipment Officer before the next game or incur a R200.00 fine

Tee-Off Times
-the Starter is struggling to ensure that the field gets off the tee box on time at our various games
-we urge you to arrive in due time at the respective courses, bearing in mind all that must be done
before even teeing up your ball on the 1st

Early Leavers (You will be fined!!)
You will be charged R20.00 for apologies at Registration -
R40 for apologies after the game and R100 for not apologising at all.
“Note that prize giving is part of the day and we owe it to our sponsors to attend.”

Dress Code
-Regulation dress is required at all times. The correct attire can be obtained from Orion Meyer.
