A = 0-8 : No Change (0)
B = 9 - 14 : Minus One (1)
C = 15 and up - Minus Two (2)

visitors to wear a jacket and tie for prize giving.

Good day fellow Nomads.

Thanks to the Nomads who played our monthly game
at Walmer County Club.
Congratulations to the various prize winners.

The braai after the game also went off very well and all enjoyed the
comradery.
Our next game is on 19th July at Little Walmer and I hope to see all there. It
will be our first monthly game at Little Walmer please come and enjoy with
us.
This was not a good month for Nomads in general. We had the passing of
Andrew Mentis and Joss Hamilton
Also, was the assault/attack on Shaun Staffen from Border. He is out of
Hospital and has started the long road of recovery.
The Slope scoring System is getting closer and closer from 3rd September
2018 the clubs will introduce and implement the system. This will make
golf “more interesting”
Rough Rider and frontier will be played over the weekend of 6th to 7th
October at the Fish River Resport and Royal Port Alfred Golf Cblu.

I hope I see you all at our next monthly game on 19th July 2018. It will be a
morning game at WALMER GC.

Good day Fellow Nomads,

My AMT year this year will be starting with the Race Day to be held on the
27th July 2018 at Fairview Race Course, could all Nomads try to attend as it
is for charity. My charity for this year is the Lake Farm Centre, which looks
after intellectually and physically challenged adults.

We have sold 11 tables to date and waiting for a couple of response's. Come
on fellow Nomads come and join us on the day and enjoy and entertain
client's on the day.

The individual Nomad that attends will have to pay R400.00 for a seat at the
table.

My thanks to my AMT committee who if anybody wants to contribute or
donate can contact.

Good day Fellow Nomads

What a turn around, from last month. It is great to see the Nomads having
fun again with no issues. Well done guys.

To my four ball, Rob Griffiths, John Skinner and Roy David Koen, thanks for
an awesome day. Rob and I also appreciate the fact that you both paid your
monies to us with no fuss and objections. You are always welcome to a re-
match.

The braai after the game went down well with the usual banter and laughs. It
is just a pity that we had just a few regular members in attendance.

Thanks to John and Hughy for the help of setting up the altar and the great
team of altar bunnies in assisting in packing up. I think a new recorded
could have been made, with the time it took to break down and pack away
the altar. (+/- 10 min)

Congratulations to all the lucky winners. Thanks to Jeanne and Christelle,
for your time and hard work that you both put in for us, as usual on the day.

A reminder to members of important information and upcoming events

Late withdrawal from Monthly and Special Games
-members are requested to notify Jean of their intended withdrawal before 17h00 on a Friday
before a game or be liable for the green fees. NO MEMBERS may enter or withdraw on behalf
of other members!

Payments
-Would all Nomads doing EFT or bank deposits please use your name as a reference.
Cheques to be made out to: Nomads Golf Club Eastern Cape

Divisional Trophies
-Those members who have been victorious at a monthly game are urged to return their divisional
trophies to the Equipment Officer before the next game or incur a R200.00 fine

Tee-Off Times
-the Starter is struggling to ensure that the field gets off the tee box on time at our various games
-we urge you to arrive in due time at the respective courses, bearing in mind all that must be done
before even teeing up your ball on the 1st

Early Leavers (You will be fined!!)
You will be charged R20.00 for apologies at Registration -
R40 for apologies after the game and R100 for not apologising at all.
“Note that prize giving is part of the day and we owe it to our sponsors to attend.”

Dress Code
-Regulation dress is required at all times. The correct attire can be obtained from Orion Meyer.
