1. In the Home Menu, click Design, and then click Announcement Bar.
Reset visibility (optional)
2. Enter the text for the Announcement Bar in the box. You can make the text bold or italicized and create text links.
3. You can also add a clickthrough URL to make your Announcement Bar a link.
Annoucement Bar
Browsers track when you close the Announcement Bar (using the X in the top-right corner) so it’s not displayed repeatedly. Clicking Reset Visibility restores the Announcement Bar so it reappears in your browser. This is especially useful when testing your site.
To make the Announcement Bar reappear in your browser, click Reset Visibility. This option will become available once you’ve closed the Announcement Bar.
Note: The Reset Visibility button restores the Announcement Bar in your browser when you’re logged into your Squarespace site. Clicking Reset Visibility doesn’t restore the Announcement Bar for your visitors. To make the Announcement Bar reappear to all visitors who once closed it, change the content, and the Announcement Bar reappears.

Marketing Collateral Template
The Marketing Collateral Template exists so when a new type of collateral is added to a product, you can go to this template and copy the section of code for the new button.
One of the button’s sections looks like this:
<a class=”fa mktgcoll” href=”URL or #ID”> <div class=” ow “>
<span class=”fa- le-text “ aria-hidden=”true”>
</span> <h4>
Product<br>Messaging
</h4> </div>
</a>
If you are using an ID (to jump down the page instead of to an external page) please make sure this ID matches the ID that you are jumping to. See video below for more detail.

Updating ‘Important Updates’
The Important Updates page is updated by creating 4 blocks. 1. Image Block
2. Text Block for the Title - Use Header 3
3. Text Block for the Descriptive Paragraph
4. The optional Button
And then you just need to format them into place. The main thing is to make the image smaller. To start, put them side by side. See this video to see exactly how to format it.
