Synopsis

The show follows Matilda, a five-year-old with a huge love of books and a vivid imagination. Despite her terrible parents, Matilda finds comfort in the library, finds quirky friends, and discovers a kindred spirit in her schoolteacher Miss Honey. Together, they all take on the evil Miss Trunchbull, the tyrannical headmistress of the school. Matilda finds her own strength and courage and stands up for what she believes in.
