Where are you from?
I was born in Lupane at a village called wMsewele and also
stayed in Magwegwe .
What do you do?
I am a financial System tester and a personal trainer
What inspires you?
My mom inspires me a lot as she made sure we never strug-
gled. We had everything we needed so I had to live up to it to
make sure I succeed as well.
Does were you come from play a role in what you do?
Absolutely. Growing up, I would see my family working up
early in the morning to go the fields and coming back at sun-
set. They were fit as they were constantly .exercising without
knowing it. That played a big role in inspiring me because
when people come to England they get complacent to eat
a lot of junk food and focus more on making money than
taking care of their bodies.
Can someone work out everyday?
You don’t need to work out everyday. Your body needs to rest
Do I need to vary my workouts to see the results?
Yes you do need to vary your workouts and set goals. Our
bodies works in different kinds of ways so do workouts ac-
cording to your body needs and type.
What type of training do I need in order to gain muscles?
To gain muscles I use free weight lifting like dumbbells , I do
squats ,bench work outs and resistant bands using my own
weight, basically using my own body like push ups and pull
ups.
What do I need to lose weight ?
Skipping works wonders ,let’s say you do skipping for 10mins
it’s the same as running for 30minutes so you can literally
do exercises at home if you don’t like running or if you don’t
have access to a gym. Make sure all your workout are intense
.Cycling and swimming also helps. For the elderly I recom-
mend walking and dancing.
Is stretching important?
-Stretching is important before working out as it reduces any
chance of injurie. It is also a form of exercise.
How often do I need to rest ?
Resting is vital. When working out muscles tear up so once
something tears up it needs to rebuild . If you workout and
not rest, you will tear up more muscle instead of building
muscle.
Does exercise help mental health ?
Fitness helps with mental health. It helps to clear your minds
when you are stressed. You can include workouts such as
yoga and meditation.
Do you push yourself the way you push and motivate others?
As a personal trainer I must push myself so that I show the
next person that whatsoever I am doing does work. It has to
start with me before I can inspire someone else.

Balsamic marinated beetroot salad
Ingredients
Fresh beets 500g
Garlic 1 bulb
Olive oil 2 tablespoons
Salt and pepper To taste
Cream cheese 30g
For the balsamic vinaigrette you’ll need
Balsamic vinegar 100mls
Honey 20mls
Fresh basil 5 leaves
Thyme Sprigs
Garlic 3 cloves
Fettucine Alfredo (serves 4) Dijon mustard 2 teaspoons
Ingredients Salt and pepper To taste
Olive oil 200mls
Tagliatlle pasta 400g
Button Mushrooms 200g (sliced)
Garlic 4 cloves (minced) Method.
Bacon 150g Firstly clean and peel the beets then cut into desired

Parmesan cheese 40g Next step is to season your beets with salt ,pepper

For the sauce you’ll begin by adding bacon into a
large pan at a medium heat. Once the fat has ren-
dered slightly add the diced white onion & garlic
and cook them until soft.
Once the onions and bacon have infused add the
sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook through.
Season with salt and pepper before adding the
cream which will begin to thicken the sauce. Grate
a third of the parmesan to intensify your alfredo
sauce. You want the consistency to coat the back of
a wooden spoon or silicone spatula
In a separate pot bring your pasta water to a rolling
boil add olive oil and salt to it before dropping your
tagliatelle pasta in. Dry pasta should cook for 10-13
minutes but you can check doneness often to avoid
overcooking.
Once your pasta is cooked transfer into the sauce
and allow to coat generously, grate the remainder
of the parmesan and present as desired. Garnish
with fresh sprigs of thyme to elevate your
presentation.
