WELCOME TO SNOWS TOYOTA Welcome to the first edition of the Snows Toyota e-newsletter which features an introduction from us, Mike Maidment and Dale Vaughan. With over 36 years experience working with Snows Toyota, we value and recognise the importance of the long-standing relationships we have with our customers and will use our quarterly e-newsletters to share news and updates from across our dealerships. This issue celebrates the launch of the All-New All-Electric Toyota bZ4X, the first fully electric model to be introduced to the Toyota range. Being a market leader with a long history in battery and hybrid vehicles, our teams are naturally very excited about the launch and ready to support you as we transition into an electric future. We also recently opened the doors to our brand new Sarisbury Green dealership, enabling us to create 15 local jobs. You can read more about our new site inside.
With SMART repair facilities recently installed at Hedge End, a restructuring of our fleet department and a recruitment drive in motion, we continue to move towards achieving our goal of being a one stop shop for all your mobility needs. Our EV Champion from Snows Toyota answers the most commonly asked questions we have received about the All-New All-Electric Toyota bZ4X. Our All-New All-Electric Toyota bZ4X has a range of up to 318 miles*. Our telematics system on test drives will be able to give you a detailed breakdown of the complete drive to give you an idea of metrics such fuel saving and time to recharge. Naturally this does depend on how and where you are charging your EV. We've found from an empty battery to full, a standard home/public charger (7kw) tends to take around 9 hours, whereas a 3-pin plug roughly 31 hours. Electric range figures are provided for comparability purposes, and can vary depending on factors such as selected grade and transmission, accessories fitted (post registration), driving style, weather conditions, speed or vehicle load. However, we can't stress enough how this does vary depending on each individual provider and tariff. A top tip from us would be to look at a tariff that has a lower rate during evenings, as this is when most people tend to charge their EV. You will have no doubt seen public chargers at service stations, supermarkets and carparks. The number of providers can be overwhelming, but Toyota introduced the Toyota Public Charging Network, giving you a simple way to charge at thousands of charge points across the UK without having to set up alternative payment methods, or download multiple apps. We've found this to be hugely advantageous and a benefit not all manufacturers are able to offer.
