In recognition of this, Technicair have an industry leading total of seven identical, fully equipped self-contained vans and a support vehicle with tail lift totally dedicated to UK AOG support.
Located across our 3 sites, Farnborough, Luton and Bournemouth, our team can and have been deployed throughout the length and breadth of the UK. All vehicles are tracked to ensure visibility of any delays through unforeseen circumstances Each van is equipped with internet/Wi-Fi access, printer, full access to aircraft manuals, GSE and consumables. Nitrogen and Oxygen & tooling Our AOG support extends beyond utilisation of the vans as our teams are also ready to travel extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. This ensures your asset is returned to service as soon as possible
Avionics Modi cations, Upgrades and STCs TECHNICAir have extensive experience at carrying out Avionics Modi cations and Upgrades. We work with all the major Avionics vendors and OEM's. We are also factory authorised by Collins and Garmin. From addition of USB sockets, cabin modi cations, cockpit upgrades, satellite communications and WiFi connectivity, we can o er a relevant solution. This may be a service bulletin, an existing STC, or if there is nothing suitable, we can create a new design.
A major eet operator recently requested a Bluetooth upgrade to his Citation eet. Having reviewed the options we contracted a Part 21J to produce a bespoke minor change to ensure we could o er a cost-e ective solution, which the customer has happily accepted. We have carried out simple minor changes up to a complete avionics suite upgrades. Our knowledge of the aircraft and options ensures that we can o er the best solution. For example...
Technical Training Department Originally established to manage our internal type training requirements, we are now o ering customers the chance to obtain training at a sensible price without the high associated costs of overseas courses. We are open to discussion as to what your needs are and tailor our o erings to meet your requirements.
The Technical Training Department is Part 147 certi ed under UK CAA & EASA regulations. B1/B2 type training takes place in a dedicated Training Facility within Bournemouth airport, allowing practical training (OJT) to take place in our hangars on relevant aircraft types. B1/B2 type training courses currently available are Phenom EMB 505 / PW535 and Citation 680/680A. Aircraft Level 1 General Familiarisation courses are either carried out on site, Online or can be scheduled to be carried out at a suitable location of your choice. Level 1 courses can be developed in line with your aircraft requirements.
