will teach a white-line wood-
cut class from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
Monday to Wednesday, May
16 to 18.

White-line woodcut printing
was invented over a century
ago in Provincetown, Mass.
This unique art form produces
full-color prints from a single
carved wood block.

In this beginner class, par-
ticipants will learn to create a
conceptual drawing, transfer
the drawing to a wood block,
carve and paint the block, and
finally transfer the image to
the printing paper. No previ-
ous knowledge of wood block
printing or woodcarving is
necessary. The cost of the
workshop is $190 for members
and $225 for nonmembers.

For a $35 fee to be paid the
first day of class, the instruc-
tor will provide all materials
except for watercolor paints
and brushes.

This is a true American art
form that is little known be-
yond Cape Cod.

To register, go to re-
hobothartleague.org or call
302-227-8408, Ext. 112.

All classes are held at the

at 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen

Your home is more than just shelter
from the elements. It’s a scrapbook of
past memories and a blank page for new
stories. It’s where board game winning
streaks are broken, family recipes are
passed down to the next generation, and
solo music acts become not-so-solo.

Your home is an endless library to a lifetime
of memories. Write your next story.

CROSSWORD SUDOKU

Fun By The Numbers
Like puzzles? Then you’ll love sudoku. This mind-bending
puzzle will have you hooked from the moment you square
off, so sharpen your pencil and put your sudoku savvy to
the test!

Here’s How It Works:
Sudoku puzzles are formatted as a 9x9 grid, broken down
into nine 3x3 boxes. To solve a sudoku, the numbers
1 through 9 must fill each row, column and box. Each
number can appear only once in each row, column and
box. You can figure out the order in which the numbers
will appear by using the numeric clues already provided in
the boxes. The more numbers you name, the easier it gets
to solve the puzzle.
