The Cape Henlopen High School field hockey team won the Division I state championship Dec. 12, with a 3-0 win over Polytech at Dover
High School. It’s the Vikings’ fourth straight title and ninth in 10 years.

The Cape Henlopen High School girls' lacrosse team defeated Tatnall 17-10 May 27 to win its 12th straight state championship. The Lady
Vikings have won every contested state title since 2009. The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID pandemic.
