Warm Up

● Two laps around gym
● Arm stretches 12 seconds
● Left and right arm across chest 12 seconds
● Left and right arm behind head 12 seconds
● Leg stretches 12 seconds
● Stretch down with feet together 12 seconds
● Left and right leg apart stretch down 12 seconds
● Stretch down the middle with feet apart 12 seconds

Four Square

● Objective: Score by hitting the ball in someone’s square to eliminate them and defend
the ball no matter how hard it bounces in your square.

● Key Skill: Focus, Awareness, and Speed.
● Time Requirement: 7-10 minutes
● Space Requirement: 4 squares for each player
● Equipment: Tape and rubber ball
● Instruction: Four players on a square court divided into quadrants. The last person to

win serves the ball as a bounce.These situations represent all the ways in which a
player may be eliminated from the court.
● Players are eliminated for:

Failing to hit the ball into another square, allowing the ball to bounce more than once in
their own square, hitting the ball out of bounds, hitting the ball incorrectly such as
holding, catching or carrying, or hitting the ball with a part of the body that is not a hand.

Quack, Quack, Fly

● Objective: To tag the person that tapped you before they sit in your seat.
● Key Skill: Listening, Speed, and Concentration.
● Time Requirement: 10 minutes
● Space Requirement: Everybody must be sitting in a circle
● Equipment: None
● Instruction: Everyone will sits In a circle. ONE person will begin the game by being it. This will walk

around the circle tapping each person head while saying, “quack.” When the person that is “it” taps
someone's head and says, “Fly” then that person will get up and chase the person that was ”it”
around the circle. the GOAL is to tap that person before they are able sit down in the ducks spot. If
the person is not able to do this, they become "it" for the next round and play continues. If they do
tap the "it" person, the person tagged has to sit in the center of the circle. Then the duck becomes
it for the next round. The person in the middle can't leave until another person is tagged and they
are replaced.

Healerball

● Objective: To eliminate the healer to stop healing their other teammates.
● Key Skill: Hand Eye Coordination and Awareness
● Time Requirement: 12-15 minutes
● Space Requirement: Basketball Court or Outside
● Equipment: 5 or 6 dodgeballs and 10-12 people for teams
● Instruction: On each team there is a “Healer” that is chosen by the team. The identity

of the healer remains anonymous to the other team. The healer has the ability to
revive players on their team by touching them if they have been hit. Once the healer is
hit, they are out of the game and no one can be revived after that. The game ends
when everyone one team has successfully gotten hit.

JR Obstacle

● Objective: To be faster than the other team when doing obstacles.
● Key Skill: Jumping and Speed
● Time Requirement: 10-15 minutes
● Space Requirement: Outside or Half a basketball court
● Equipment: Jump ropes, Cones, and two teams
● Instruction: There are two different teams. First the player will do 5 jumps

through a jump rope. Then each player will run up half the court and run
back. Then do 5 jumps using a jump rope You will complete this routine
until every player on the team finishes.

Backsides

● Objective: To be the first group standing up without using your hands on the floor.
● Key Skill: Communication, Strategic thinking, Focus, and Teamwork
● Time Requirement: 5-10 minutes
● Space Requirement: Anywhere inside as long as surface isn’t slippery
● Equipment: None
● Instruction:Pair each student up with someone they are close in height with. Tell them

to sit down back to back. Hook arms with their partners and be in a long sitting
position. Say “go” and have them try and stand back up while remaining in that same
position without using their hands.

Ice Tag

● Objective: Avoid getting tagged/frozen
● Key Skill: Communicating, Cooperation, and
● Time Requirement: 10 minutes
● Space Requirement: Outside or Whole basketball court
● Equipment: Cones for out of bounds lines
● Instruction: Someone is chosen to be “it”. If a player gets tagged, they immediately

freeze. To ‘unfreeze’ a player, another player must give the frozen person a
high-5.Neither player may be tagged while unfreezing someone and taggers cannot
stand around waiting for them to finish.

Legged Out

● Objective: two participants completing a race with the left leg of one runner strapped
to the right leg of another runner. Be the first team to complete the race with your
partner hopping on one leg

● Key Skill: Teamwork, Strategize, and Communication
● Time Requirement: 7 minutes
● Space Requirement: Half basketball court
● Equipment: Cones and Cloth to tie legs together.
● Instruction: Two people are on a team and both their inner leg is tied together with

their partner. The players have to interlock each others arms and hop down and back
on one leg. Once they get back to the spot they started they have to sit down to show
they made it to the finish line.

Bean-Tac-Toe

● Objective: Be the first team to get tic tac toe in the hula hoops using bean
bags.

● Key Skill: Speed, Strategize, and Precision
● Time Requirement: 5-7 minutes
● Space Requirement: Half Basketball Court
● Equipment: Bean bags, Hula hoops, and Cones
● Instruction: People will split into two teams. Crab walk to the cones grab a

bean bag. Once you get the bean bag run to the hula hoop set and throw the
bean bag into the correct spot for you to get tic tac toe. Run back to your
team then the next person is up. First one to get 3 bean bags in a row wins
and you can block the opposite team from winning using bean bags.

Four Islands

● Objective: Outsmart the caller to be the last person standing on the island.
● Key Skill: Memory and Cleverness
● Time Requirement: 10 minutes
● Space Requirement: Half basketball court
● Equipment: Blindfold and 4 Cones
● Instruction:That person closes his or her eyes while the rest of the students go to one

of the four corners in the classroom. When all students are settled in a corner, the
“caller” calls out a number. All the people who chose that corner are out of the game
and must sit down. “Caller” closes his or her eyes again, calls out a island number, and
more students sit down.When the game gets down to four people or fewer, each must
choose a different corner. If the caller calls out a corner where nobody is standing,
“caller” must choose again.The game continues until only one student is left. That
student becomes the “caller”.

Lottery Ball

● Objective: Be the person to catch the most throws which will give you the most money
in the game

● Key Skill: Catching, Listening, and Hand eye coordination
● Time Requirement: 12 minutes
● Space Requirement: Full court
● Equipment: Football
● Instruction: One player will stand alone with the football. The other players will stand

scattered around the gym. The player with the ball will throw the ball in the air and he
will say a number. whoever catches it thats how many points ( money ) they have who
ever has the most at the end at the game will be the next person to throw.

Cup Pyramid

● Objective: The team to finish stacking and unstacking the fastest wins
● Key Skill: Focusing, Speed, and Hand eye coordination.
● Time Requirement: 7 minutes
● Space Requirement: Table Space
● Equipment: Table and Cups
● Instruction: Split everybody up into groups of 3 or 4. Give the order or sequence of

how the cups should be stacked and unstacked. If person on team messes up they
have to restart their sequence over again. When done with your sequence go to the
back of your teams line and sit down to show that you are finished.

Heads up 7 up

● Objective: Guess correctly on who touched your thumb down.

● Key Skill: Focus and Memory
● Time Requirement: 10 minutes
● Space Requirement: Anywhere
● Equipment: None
● Instruction: 7 people will remain standing while the rest lay down on the ground with

their heads down. The 7 will roam around and each will touch a person. Once touched,
he or she will put their thumb up. When all 7 have selected a person they will say
“Heads up 7 up!” The people who were touched has to guess who selected them. If
they guess correctly they exchange places with that person and if not they will stay
where they are.
