2. Organizational Civility: Assessing IR Competencies of HR
Professionals.

Abstract:- This article adopts an assessment center (AC) methodology to
understand how the industrial relations (IR) competencies of HR
professionals in their early career are evolving. We find that IR
competencies are correlated with several other competencies which are
essential for professional success. However, IR competencies lag behind the
others. It is argued that the erosion of IR competencies embodies a loss of
civility in organizations. This loss of civility is closely associated with the
proliferation of functionalist and instrumental discourses which severely
corrode dialogical possibilities in organizations.

2. Geographic Diversification in Indian Banking: Assessing the Impact
on Risk and Returns.

Abstract:-Indian banking sector has undergone sea changes over the years.
Much of these changes are the consequences of irreversible process of
liberalization, globalization and privatization. Banks in India, to a large
extent, have become functionally dynamic and operationally efficient. One
of the important developments one can witness in the sector is the growing
scale of geographical and revenue diversification over the years.
Geographical diversification is expected to bring positive results by way of
reduced risks and increased returns for the Indian banks. Against the
backdrop of existing literature which renders diverse views about the
diversification benefits, the present study examines the manner and the
extent to which banks are geographically diversified in the case of both
public and private sector banks and analyzes its impact on the performance
measured in terms of returns. The study uses a panel dataset of 40
observations for the period 1994-2014.

MARKETING:-

1. Dynamic Relationship Marketing.

Abstract:- Firms routinely engage in relationship marketing (RM) efforts to
improve their relationships with business partners, and extant research has
documented the effectiveness of variousRM strategies. According to the
perspective proposed in this article, as customers migrate through different
relationship states over time, not all RM strategies are equally effective, so it
is possible to identify the most effective RM strategies given customers'
states. The authors apply a multivariate hidden Markov model to a six-year
longitudinal data set of 552 business-to-business relationships maintained by a
Fortune 500 firm. The analysis identifies four latent buyer-seller relationship
states, according to each customer's level of commitment, trust, dependence,
and relational norms, and it parsimoniously captures customers' migration
across relationship states through three positive (exploration, endowment,
recovery) and two negative (neglect, betrayal) migration mechanisms. The
most effective RM strategies across migration paths can help firms promote
customer migration to higher performance states and prevent deterioration to
poorer ones.

2. The Impact of Peer Mentoring on Marketing Content Mastery.

Abstract:- This article describes and assesses a course design that uses peer
mentors to facilitate a collaborative, hands-on learning experience in an
introductory marketing course. Results demonstrate that peer mentoring
increased content mastery and had a positive effect on students‟ perceptions of
the learning experience. Peer marketing mentors, along with the faculty team,
achieved success in providing a demanding and engaging learning environment
that meets the needs of learners and equips them with content knowledge
required of career-ready professionals. A step-by-step guide is provided to
enable others to develop a similar experience for students in their institutions.

1. Adapting to Fast-Changing Markets and Technologies.

Abstract:- The dynamic capabilities framework identifies
three components as critical for successful organizational
adaptation: sensing, seizing and transforming. By
contrasting two distinct business cases, a long-term biofuel
investment by DuPont and Novartis's rapid deployment of
digital technologies in marketing, this article assesses the
managerial implications of each of these components. It
develops an embryonic contingency model that illustrates
why the relative importance of dynamic capabilities varies
across firms.

1.Examining Hacker Participation Length in
Cybercriminal Internet-Relay-Chat Communities.

Abstract:- To further cybersecurity, there is interest in
studying online cybercriminal communities to learn more
about emerging cyber threats. Literature documents the
existence of many online Internet Relay Chat (IRC)
cybercriminal communities where cybercriminals
congregate and share hacking tools, malware, and more.
However, many cybercriminal community participants
appear unskilled and have fleeting interests, making it
difficult to detect potential long-term or key participants.
This is a challenge for researchers and practitioners to
quickly identify cybercriminals that may provide credible
threat intelligence.
