Rafflesia Arnoldi

Rafflesia arnoldi is a member of the genus Rafflesia,
which occurs only in the rainforests of Sumatra and
Borneo in the Indonesian Archipelago. It is noted for
producing the largest individual flower on earth, and a
strong odor of decaying flesh - the latter point earning it
the nickname of "corpse flower". This would attract flies
and insects which help disperse the seeds. Rafflesia
isparasite, which means it takes the nutrient out of
itshost.
There is a deep well in the centre of the flowers. The
sexual organs are located beneath the rim of the disk.
Male and female flowers are separate.

Foxes

Fox is a common name for many species of omnivorous
mammals belonging to the Canidae family. Foxes are small
to medium-sized canids (slightly smaller than a medium-
sized domestic dog), characterized by possessing a long
narrow snout, and a bushy tail (or brush).
In the wild, foxes can live for up to 10 years, but most
foxes only live for 2 to 3 years due to hunting, road
accidents and diseases. Foxes are generally smaller than
other members of the family Canidae such as wolves,
jackals, and domestic dogs. Male foxes are called
Reynards, and weigh, on average, around 5.9 kilograms
(13 lb) while female foxes, called vixens, weigh less, at
around 5.2 kilograms (11.5 lb).
