Actress and horse girl Beth Behrs announced in early Fall that she was branching out into thewestern fashion world through a collaboration with Cate Havstad-Casad’s sustainable leathergoods brand Range Revolution. By wearing and sharing this collection, you’re helping to tell abigger story: waste can be turned into something beautiful, useful and enuring. The collaboration, artisan crafted western style boots, stands as a celebration of two women’s shared love of horses, motherhood, land stewardship, healing, and handmade things that matter. “This collaboration is a love letter to the West and to the horses who’ve shaped my life. Range Revolution showed me that a pair of boots can carry the stories of regenerative land, good people, and a gentler way of being in the world.”For those who may not know, Range Revolution is a luxury leather goods brand which was founded in 2021 by Cate, a first-generation regenerative rancher. The brand, which uses 100% USA regeneratively sourced hides, was an endeavor launched to connect Cate’s purpose in design and agriculture and find artful ways to inspire people to connect with the natural world. Range Revolution, motivated by sustainability, is dedicated to stewardship and embodying thespirit of craftsmanship and enduring beauty. When Cate began this work to rebuild a traceableregeneratively-sourced American leather supply chain, this didn’t exist. Tell us about yourself. How did you start the Maison Moccasin brand?I’m a country girl at heart who ran away to Hollywood 30 years ago. I was raised on Moccasin Ranch in Central Oregon, surrounded by wide open skies and horses. My childhood was shaped by rescuing racehorses, saving a palomino pony, and eventually waking up one Christmas morning to find my very own Appaloosa colt to raise, break, and love. That bond gave me a horse-girl heart that still beats strong—even after three decades in Hollywood. Maison Moccasin was born from weaving those roots of ranch life with the sophistication and creativity I cultivated in the entertainment and fashion world. It’s where my past and present come together, crafted in leather, fringe, and timeless equestrian style.What inspired you to design the equestrianinfluenced handbags and leather accessories for humans and horses? Leather and feathers are part of my DNA—rooted in my Native American bloodlines and reimagined through decades of design in Hollywood. Since 2011, I’ve been creating statement pieces for celebrities, even igniting the long-feather trend in 2013 when it swept through the wardrobes of A-list icons. But my true muse has always been the horse. One day, while holding a horse bit in my hand, I saw not just tack, but couture. Within two weeks, I transformed that spark into the first Maison Moccasin bag—an equestrian silhouette born of heritage, artistry, and unbridled luxury. It’s not just an accessory; it’s what I would want to carry on my saddle and on the runway. An equestrian styled multi disciplined leather bag of unbridled luxury.Explain your design process and the materials you like working with.My process always begins with materials that carry both beauty and spirit. I’m endlessly collecting crystals, turquoise, and supple leathers—pieces that hold energy and history. Feathers are especially sacred to me: I’ll source vintage plumes or harvest them from the country, and when a magnificent bird of prey passes naturally, I preserve its feathers as a way of honoring its life forever. I also love working with gold and silver, often blending metals with organic textures. The result is a fusion of raw earth and refined luxury—each design carrying a story, a soul, and a sense of timeless couture.Where can we find all these amazing pieces?Maison Moccasin is currently available through our Instagram boutique and online.
