ALUMNI SPEAK
I pursued the MBA programme at UNITAR whilst working in
parallel at CIMB Bank Berhad. Despite a hectic working schedule, I
managed to attend lectures online amidst the pandemic. During
classes, I was able to connect with fellow students who are also
in the working class, thus expanding my professional network.
Group assignments in this programme were very beneficial in honing
my leadership skills and improved my teamwork capabilities as I
interacted and worked with group members from various management
level backgrounds. Besides being able to gain advanced knowledge
on the e-commerce business in Malaysia and its sustainability, this
programme has greatly improved my management skills that helped
me produce more accurate analysis and better decisions in my day-
to-day job. In a nutshell, this programme provided a boost in my
career growth despite the competitiveness of the corporate world.

We are living in a fast-pace and ever-changing world and we
are facing challenges at every step of the way. Today’s world
demands even more from us. Moving towards the future requires
quintessential knowledge and skills. UNITAR understands this and
provides the best solution to prepare its students for the future.
Looking back, I made the best decision to enrol with UNITAR for my
education journey. UNITAR has helped transformed me to the best
version of myself. Opportunities to grow with UNITAR has made
me believe that I can do better and the future is looking brighter.
I learned so much in this programme with guidance from dedicated and
experienced lecturers throughout the semesters. I would like to thank
UNITAR for being the perfect platform for me to further my higher
level of education and I can say I am ready for what the future holds.

I began my higher education journey at UNITAR when I decided to pursue
my Foundation in Management programme. Upon completion, I pursued
the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) and completed it in August
2021. During this period, I was often presented with hosting opportunities
which eventually paved a career pathway as a professional TV Presenter
when I was selected to be a TV Anchor for Astro’s Vizhuthugal programme.
Aside from hosting, I successfully secured permanent employment
as an Assistant Manager for National Sales at UNITAR, and was
recently promoted as Sales Training Manager. The MBA programme
included challenging courses that applied business decisions to case
studies and coursework in the areas of business analytics. Having
capstone projects in group settings allowed students to pull from
the curriculum that was studied. UNITAR has unbelievable value
compared to other universities of equal calibre. A decision to pursue
an MBA at is definitely a smart one that any students will not regret!
