Let us rejoice and be glad!

It is delightful that we are able to gather tonight as a Villa family for the
first time in two years – truly a cause for celebration! Our reasons to be
glad spread from this event in joyous ripples. Each of us here tonight is
blessed with resources to support the Mission of Villa Joseph Marie
High School. What a gift to be able to advance such a worthy project, to
empower young women as they grow into the leaders God calls them to
be! There are so many new initiatives to support that keep our Mission
vital in the 21st century, building on the solid tradition of a Villa
education -- our new leadership and internship program, a growing
STEM program, the development of forward-focused facilities to
leverage our $1.5 million redevelopment grant, the inspiring guidance of
our sponsoring Sisters of St. Casimir -- the list goes on and on.

Thank you for your generosity tonight and every day in helping Villa
flourish. A special thanks to our Advancement team, to the Auction Co-
Chairs Mr. & Mrs. Jim and Maureen Montemuro and Mr. & Mrs.
Brendan & Alex Noone, to the dedicated Auction Committee Chairs and
members, to Alyse Johnson for her dedication in coordinating this event,
as well as to everyone who donated items for the auction. We could not
be more grateful for each of you.

Let us enjoy each other’s good company tonight over delicious food and
drink. Let us connect with old friends and make new ones. And let us
all raise the stakes at the gambling tables and bid often on our auction
offerings in the fun-filled spirit of supporting our JEMS!

Giving at Villa

As you know, tuition is the largest source of income at Villa Joseph Marie,
as it is in the majority of schools. That tuition, however, covers only about
80% of what it costs to educate a young woman at Villa. The remaining
20% is raised through Villa’s Annual Spring Auction and the generosity of
donors to our Always Villa Fund. Our Jems depend on the success of this
auction to ensure that the best possible education is available to them at
an affordable price.
Your active participation in the Annual Spring Auction and the Always Villa
Fund reflects your commitment to ensuring the availability of the highest
level of secondary education for area young women. Thank you for your
continued support of Villa and our Jems through your support of this
event. Every day, you inspire us to embrace the words of our Foundress,
the Venerable Mother Maria Kaupas…
