My parents, my uncle, my teachers, my friends
I could support many individuals in this sector throughout my profession. Many for their careers, for better relationships for graceful life
and economical and social development. There are many such small incidents which I can share where I felt I have cherished as the
development profession
This is a great field where we can get satisfaction and career growth. I enjoy this sector because it can bring change to someone's life. I
always say that even if we are in any profession or sector we can still use our skills and knowledge to create a great opportunity for people
for their upliftment and development
Last few years or over a decade I witness many people from other professions are also entering the social sector as social entrepreneurs
or leaders or creating a social startup. The sector is not limited now to only MSW, MBA a or development professional but it’s an
amalgamation of other professions as well. This helps to bring multifaceted talents and experiences to the sector

My cousin, Mr.Srikar Baljekar
The school, which opposed our team of trainers (KEF) strongly and the school teachers were reluctant to take
part in the training program after few sessions became friendly and finally they all not only accepted us but
also they treated us as mentors. Now the school and the teachers have gained knowledge and teaching acumen
as we expected.
You should have a passion for the charity's aims and strategic direction. Voluntary work experience of some kind will be a great way to
show this. you should be able to work in a team, even in an adverse environment. You need to have communication skills to communicate
the correct message to the community as well as your funders. You need to be compassionate and empathetic. From an organizational
perspective, one needs to encourage innovation because of the value it can capture. An innovative person increases productivity by
creating and executing new processes, which in turn may increase competitive advantage and provide meaningful differentiation. We
inherently become more adaptable to the external environment; this allows us to react faster and more effectively to avoid risk and
capture opportunities. Creativity is one of the most important qualities to be successful as an innovator in the development sector.
Creativity itself is the abandonment of rigid structures, a very desirable trait for individuals in leadership positions to have in a corporate
setting.
The social sector needs to recruit and retain good people and make optimum use of their talent. Nonprofits work with a limited recruiting
budget. This affects every part of the hiring process. Nonprofits could be limited to advertising only on free job boards; Nonprofit
organizations must have an internal team available to find candidates, instead of taking the job onto an existing role, such as payroll or
human resources manager. Nonprofits struggle to attract many candidates with top credentials simply because their salary structures
aren’t as lucrative as those of for-profit companies. When matched against a for-profit competitor, nonprofit recruitment simply falls
short. In short, take efficient and sufficient manpower and get a result like the profit sector. This will be the key to the social sector to
flourish on the world index.

I’m a Fellow in Management from IIM Calcutta and graduated in 2008. I have been teaching at a
University in London since 2009 and teaching People Management since then as a Senior Lecturer.
In my teaching, I have always focused on the ‘purpose’ motive of individuals and organizations. In
recent years, I have been involved with the study of social enterprise, particularly leadership aspects
of managing a social enterprise.
There are many who have inspired me. But I particularly am amazed (and in the future would like to emulate) the countless,
nameless individuals associated with the Red Cross, who put their lives in danger to participate in humanitarian missions
and try to ensure the health and safety of people facing difficult situations.
Several years ago, in one of my courses, young undergraduate graduates were given the task of coming up with business
plans for setting up a social enterprise. What I saw was not only a deluge of brilliant ideas but also great clarity in making
these workable and sustainable. That bolstered my belief of the need to inspire and involve young people in the development
sector and since has become a large part of what I do in my teaching practice.
The world is your oyster and so keep exploring. But beyond ideation, consistency in trying to push the boundaries can make
the world a better place.
Thankfully, the developmental sector is becoming a more accessible profession, and there are many with stars in their eyes.
It is time now to make it more systematic and help those involved understand processes and management of It to make work
efficient and effective and therefore sustained.

The importance of education should be taught in every part of our society, corruption should be stopped in education field
deserving and poor students should get seats rather than students who pay lump sum donations to acquire seats which they
don't deserve each student should learn value and importance of education.
Teaching is a noble profession nowadays teaching is considered as the market there are many classes in every area everybody
is charging huge amount of fees to provide education but they are producing robots and giving importance to a percentage
rather than talent. So this should be stopped and if a talented person is trying to do something they are not getting chance but
some of them who are willing to teach they open NGO get some of the talented students or poor who can't afford the fees of
this higher classes they should be rewarded by social institutions or by media

The time where a student came up to me and said, Anna(brother) because of you I am in college today doing engineering, on
the way to become an aeronautical engineer. All I did was to encourage him and his parents to continue his education and it
made a difference.
Innovation is the only path for growth in the Technically advanced modern world. keep innovating, keep growing stay
relevant to the needs of the generation/community.
Talent is primal to bring about the right change, profits, or growth. Like any other sector, even the development sector
needs the right talent to maximize their impact and serve their communities right. Most of the non-profits work outside the
basic business models, the reason being it's not profit-oriented but it is change-oriented, impact-oriented that needs a
strong business plan like any other enterprise. I believe the career in the development sector should be seen as lucrative as
any other sector and that's how talent flows into the sector and thereby change.

The social sector has been one of the most rewarding sectors for me. It has motivated and aspired me to help me think more
differently on how can I contribute more to such a deserving and one of the most vibrant sectors. One such part of the
experience I remember is the time I won the Woman Achievers Award. It made me emotional and I felt good that my
contributions to my team, have touched several lives and empowered them to make appropriate decisions for themselves and
their families.

Visiting an interior tribal community of Phulbani, Odisha, and helping them with a business model to generate a source of
livelihood from locally grown products was an amazing experience. I got further kick to give back to the community after that
visit. The warmth and love that a received from them were eternal and pure.
They are the makers of a new sustainable world that we had always dreamt of. Carrying an "intent" to bring a change is a
pivot element. So the answer to the question "How's the intent?" Should always be "High Sir!!".
