10 Kitchen Ingredients for Fair

Skin in Monsoons

We all want flawless, fair skin. And with that aim in mind, we
venture out to the supermarkets to try out every product out
there that deals with skin darkening. However, these products
often have a lot of chemicals in them.
Although they seem to work in a short span of time, in the long
run, the chemicals would just be harming your skin. The cocktail
of chemicals in these products could later make the skin age
faster with the appearance of spots as well.

There are many reasons that could lead to the darkening of our
natural skin tones. The skin basically starts getting darker when
there is a lack of oxygen in the blood.

Several other reasons like chronic stress, exposure to the sun,
smoking, etc., can have an impact on our natural skin tone.

Smoking constricts blood flow, so along with a lot of health
hazards, it can affect the skin tone as well. If health isn't a good
enough reason to quit smoking, the skin tone should be.

Monsoons can be especially harsh for the skin in terms of
darkening. Most people tend to ignore sunscreens during the
monsoon season because they feel the sunlight isn't too harsh
during this time.

This is a delusion however, as the ozone layer is actually more
exposed to the sun's rays during monsoons, causing more sun
damage.

Wanting fair skin does not mean that you would have to spend all
of your money on products and even have to deal with all the
chemicals. Your kitchen is also stocked with miracle items that
could help you achieve fair, glowing, flawless skin easily.

Don't believe us? Well, read on to know all about it.

Lemon Juice: Any post about fairness is incomplete without
lemon. Lemon juice is a natural bleaching agent and it is the
strongest among all the natural fairness ingredients. Apply lemon

juice all over the face. This may sting a little bit, but this only
means that it is working.

Egg: Beat an egg until it gets smooth and slightly frothy. Apply the
mixture using a foundation or any brush. Additionally, eggs can
help tighten the pores and reduce blackheads. You can add a few
drops of any essential oil to get rid of the smell of eggs.

Chickpea flour: Mix a little chickpea flour powder with milk to
make a paste and rub it over your face. This would work as a
natural moisturising scrub and help get rid of all the traces of
dead skin. This is the easiest and safest way to get rid of the dead
skin cells.

Turmeric: Turmeric is a magic spice that has been used by
generations of Indian beauties to brighten the skin. If it has been
passed on for generations, it has to be trusted. Mix half a
teaspoon of turmeric powder into a bit of milk to form a paste.
Apply this as a face pack once every week, and you will see its
magic.

Milk: Mix 2 tablespoons of milk with honey and apply it on to
your face. Keep this on for 10-15 minutes and then wash it off.
Milk would provide radiance along with moisture and honey is a
gentle exfoliant that helps get rid of the dead skin cells very
gently.

Yogurt: Yogurt kills any bacteria on the skin without being too
harsh, additionally it also cools the skin down. Apply some yogurt

on your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. Wash it with cold
water when done.

Tomato: Tomatoes have vitamin C and citric acid that make it a
very good, but mild, bleaching agent. Rub slices of tomato on
your face and let the juice sit for a few minutes and then wash
with cold water.

Papaya: Papayas have an enzyme called papain that can break
down the dead skin cells naturally. Cut a papaya into small cubes
and mash them. Apply the paste on to your entire face. This
method actually works and makes the skin glow.

Banana: Mash a banana and mix it with a few drops of almond
oil. This is one of the easiest and the most cost-effective ways to
lighten the skin tone effectively to give you a youthful, radiant
skin.

Orange: Orange is a great source of both vitamin C and citric acid.
Natural orange juice would work best for this, and not the store-
bought kind. Apply some fresh orange juice all over the face and
wash it off after 10-15 minutes to experience a nice glow.

The advanced dermatology reviews regimen was developed as a
treatment used by our physicians on patients afraid of injections
like Botox.
