International Fellowship of Cricket Loving Rotarians

IFCR one of the largest fellowship group amongst many in Thane Main, RC Dombivli Suncity, RC Thane Hills and RC
Rotary International is growing day by day. Till date 20 Rotary Dombivli Midtown-City. All the matches were scheduled and
District’s from India & 10 countries enjoy this Fellowship conducted on the picturesque ground of Patil’s Mountain
by participating in Interclub, Inter District & International View Gymkhana, Badlapur. We have a new IFCR committee
Cricketing Tournaments in India & around the World. this year comprising of Rtn. Milind Mohite as Chairman, Rtn.
Padmanabhan as Secretary and Rtn. Vijay Wani as Treasure.
Our Interclub Cricket Tournament began from 8th
December 2019 with the finals on 4th April 2020. A total There were 22 matches scheduled through the tournament
of 5 teams participated namely – RC Dombivli West, RC that included league matches and the finals. However, a total
of only 18 matches could be concluded till 15th March 2020.
In wake of the Covid -19 pandemic all the remaining matches
were cancelled.

RC Thane Main played a total of 7 matches of which we won
3 matches and lost 4 of them. Rtn. Vijay Patil was one of the
leading bowler with 6 wickets and Rtn. Kunal Girap was one of
the leading batsman with 172 runs. Overall, there was a great
fellowship & camaraderie through the tournament, wherein
the entire team travelled together and enjoyed the game with
the true cricketing spirit.
