Silver Suspensions
Terena Agle has been designing and hand
crafting sterling silver beaded wire jewelry
since the late 1980's. Her start came about on
Granville Island, apprenticing under an archi-
tect turned jeweller, his mantra was "it is
made right because it is made by hand". This
holds true still today in her strive for perfec-
tion and continuing the unique geometric
style. Every piece is a thoughtful creation, al-
lowing parts to flow freely...to come to life.
Organic textures combined with colourful
beads, semi-precious & precious stones, crys-
tals and 14K gold compliment her designs cre-
ating an essence of vitality that is truly inspir-
ing.
Today, Terena creates from her bright, sunny
Boundary Bay studio, just steps to the beach. As she has evolved as an artist so have
her techniques. She has developed her own eclectic style of form, forge and functional
jewelry design.
The inspiration of the stunning West Coast has given rise to a line of beautiful home de-
cor items that have embraced an unconventional stain glass technique creating beauti-
ful vases and sculptures. Terena's passion for creating unique and extraordinary works
of art has shaped Silver Suspensions, and she is honoured to share it with you.

plus a degree in Design.
In 1999 she moved to Can-
ada. After 5 years in Kel-
wona, where she developed
her marionettes and medie-
val style scrolls, she moved
to High Level (AB) and kept
on developing her art. Her
take on High Level was: Ei-
ther you have to be crazy or creative… She choose creative, well… may be a just a bit
crazy.
2010 she got the opportunity for a solo exhibition in Germany and went back to prepare
for that show. After a stunning success, she got offered five more solo and numerous joint
shows, which kept her busy for four years. During that time she wrote a children’s book,
published two poetry books and toured with her ‘Poetry Performance’.
In 2014 she finished her last German Exhibition, returned to Canada moved to the Island,
where she opened her gallery “Maloonie”.
Besides her paintings, she works mainly with paper and fabric to make her one of a kind
whimsy creations, funky storage containers,
puppets and medieval style scrolls.
She wants to add smiles and beauty to the
world with her art.

Haunted Coast Flutes
Haunted Coast Flutes are hand crafted, some are hand-carved as opposed to be-
ing turned on a lathe, by Canadian artisan Randy Millar, working in a small shop
in Nanaimo, British Columbia, based on the design of traditional styled Native
American & Iroquois flutes. Randy’s eye for art and appreciation of indigenous
culture move him to produce beautiful sounding flutes many of which are put on

West Coast Wood Creations

People talk about the things they

I started this journey in wood
carving.
I started working in the forest in-
dustry at a young age of 18 while
spending the last 30 years of my
career as a Faller.
My time working has allowed me
to see the natural beauty of Van-
couver Island and the pristine
West Coast. I have always been
attracted to wood carvings which
has given me the inspiration to
create some of these pieces.
When not in the shop carving
or learning new techniques, I can
be found out on the water salmon
fishing and enjoying
my retirement.
