Casey Cat Inside

Hello, I am Casey Cat.
Come inside with me.

I have my own cat basket
where I sleep and take a nap.

My basket has a very soft
blanket.

My basket is in the kitchen.
I like to be in the kitchen,

it always smells good!

The kitchen is just one room
in this big house.

There are many rooms
in the house where I live.
I like to visit all of them

every day.

The living room has a soft chair.
I cannot sit in the chair.

I sit on a rug beside the chair.

The bedroom has a bed and
a big chest with drawers.
Sometimes I hide beside
the bed.

The laundry room has a washer
and a dryer. I sit on them
sometimes and they wiggle .

I do not go in there very much.
I usually run past the door.

I like to go up and down
the stairs.

Sometimes I walk very slow.

The bathroom has a bathtub
and a big mirror. I like to look at

myself in the mirror.

I can go down some steps to the
basement. It is dark sometimes

and quiet. I go there when
someone is with me.

I do a lot of things inside.
I take walks from room to room.

I sit and listen while
someone reads a book.

I sit in the window and watch the
cars go by. Sometimes the little
blue birds sing to me and wave.

We are friends.

I like to eat at meal time and
have a snack later.

There are lots of things to do
inside all day long.

When night comes, I curl up
in my basket and go to sleep.
