Cynthia Greenwald
Cynthia Greenwald is a cradle Anglican/Episcopalian. Growing up in Canada, her father and paternal
grandfather were priests with her maternal great-grandfather also being a priest. Her maternal great-
uncle was the Bishop of Toronto. With these influences, on the paternal side especially, she’s seen
first-hand the workings of the Church. At the age of 15, her father felt lead by the Lord to start a
marine mission and, with the blessing of the Diocese of Toronto, the family lived on a 75’ boat for 2
years. During this life-changing time, she experienced a myriad of diverse spiritual situations, truly
broadening her faith. The Agape Mission was active in ministry on the entire Eastern seaboard along
with the Caribbean. Eventually her father became the Canon Missioner of the Diocese of Central
Florida. In 1972, she became part of the All Saints parish, though the official date of initial membership
is 1977. During her time as a student at Rollins College, where she studied English Literature, she was
the Music Director’s “helper”, maintaining the musical scores. She was blessed to attend Cursillo #6
in 1977 and was a Cursillo team member of several Cursillos, mainly as Music Leader. She has been a
member of the St. Gregory choir for several decades and a lay reader for at least 2 decades. She was
chair of the Hospital Ministries at Winter Park Hospital for our parish under Pastoral Care and chair of
the St. Gregory choir’s cookbook, “Scores of Delight”, in an effort to raise money for the choir. For many
years, she was a member of the Contemporary Service music team, playing guitar and singing. She is
also a member of the Flower Guild. In 1991, she was the music leader on a mission to Russia for open-
air concerts for three weeks under the auspices of Action Ministries, an interdenominational ministry,
having the opportunity of being in Moscow during the coup that led to the downfall of the USSR. She
was also a member of the choir during two tours as visiting choir at Winchester Cathedral and Ely
Cathedral. Her desire in being a vestry member is in being a liaison and voice of our Music Ministry
along with being an encourager of true spirituality. She is married to Dennis Greenwald who was a
Congregational pastor. They are both retired.
Barbara W. Hughes
Barbara W. Hughes has been a resident of Winter Park and a member of All Saints since 1958. She
graduated from Winter Park High School and Rollins College, served as an Elementary Teacher at
Dommerich and Brookshire for a total of eighteen years, and as a Resource Teacher at Orange County
Public School’s District Office for over ten years. She was a board member of the Woman’s Club
of Winter Park for six years while serving as chair of the Scholarship Committee. Presently she is
completing a three-year term as President of the English-Speaking Union (ESU) of Central Florida, a
501(c)3 organization. In addition, she is also serving on the National ESU board and is the liaison to
Region V. Over the years, Barbara was engaged in Women’s Bible Study groups, small groups, Coalition
for the Homeless, Newcomers Committee, and on Sunday greeting at All Saints. For the past five years,
she has been serving as a Eucharistic Minister, a Lay Eucharistic Minister, and a Lector. Recently she
has joined the Flower Guild and is completing her discernment for the Daughters of the King. Barbara
is a widow with one daughter who was raised at All Saints. Everything close to Barbara’s heart may
be summed up as FFFES: Faith, Family, Friends, Education, and Service. Barbara would be honored to
serve as a faithful and conscientious All Saints Vestry member in our vibrant parish.

asset allocation strategies and construct portfolios to help meet clients’ investment objectives while
managing risk.
Sascha started in the financial services industry in 1985 and became a Portfolio Manager at the Private
Bank of Bank of America in 1997. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Sascha worked in the Private Wealth
Management Group at SunTrust Bank where he assisted the bank’s high net worth individuals and
families with their asset allocation along with helping them with all their financial matters.
Sascha graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University with a degree in Economics. He moved to
Central Florida to attend graduate school at Rollins College and earned an MBA from the Roy E.
Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. After graduation, Sascha earned the
designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
Since moving to Central Florida, Sascha has been involved with many civic boards and associations.
He has served as Chairman of the Lakes Advisory Board in Maitland, was elected to the Maitland City
Council and served as Vice Mayor prior to his election as Mayor of the City of Maitland in 2000 where
he served until 2006. Sascha was also a member of the South Seminole North Orange County Waste
Water Transmission Authority until 2006. In 2008 he became a board member of the Orange County
Housing Finance Authority where he served as Chairman from 2012 to 2016. Since 2018 Sascha has
been a Board Trustee of 90.7 WMFE which is the local Public Radio station. Currently he serves as a
Vestry member at All Saints Church in Winter Park.
Elizabeth Ruby
In 2013 Elizabeth Ruby and her family joined All Saints Church when they moved here from Texas. They
have three daughters, ages 14, 11 & 10, two of whom attended All Saints Preschool. Elizabeth and
Justin work hard to instill in their girls a love of God and a strong sense of self grounded by personal
responsibility. Elizabeth firmly believes our church environment helps build our moral foundation and
shapes who we become. Therefore, she has devoted her time to volunteering at her daughters’ schools
and All Saints Church. Since joining All Saints, she has served as a Vacation Bible School leader and
taught Alleluia Chapel for 4 years. In 2016 she was asked to join the All Saints Preschool Commission,
where she happily continues to serve. Elizabeth would consider being elected to the All Saints vestry a
great honor.

A Prayer for the Unity of the Church
O God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, our only Savior, the Prince of Peace: Give us grace seriously
to lay to heart the great dangers we are in by our unhappy divisions; take away all hatred and prejudice, and
whatever else may hinder us from godly union and concord; that, as there is but one Body and one Spirit,
one hope of our calling, one Lord, one Faith, one Baptism, one God and Father of us all, so we may
be all of one heart and of one soul, united in one holy bond of truth and peace, of faith and charity,
and may with one mind and one mouth glorify thee; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
