Who WE ARE

We don’t expect a child to die, but it happens far too often.

According to the Centers for Disease Control &
Prevention, 1 out of every 4 women experiences
loss whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, or
death before the age of two.

Mothers leave hospitals every day without their
babies, overcome with grief and experiencing
severe emotional trauma that affects every
aspect of their lives. This is where The Finley
Project steps in.

The Finley Project 7-Part Holistic Program

The Finley Project fills the gap between the
hospital and the home by providing the
Nation’s only 7-Part Holistic Program to grieving
mothers after infant loss. In addition, The Finley
Project educates various civic groups and
hospitals on the role of the organization in their
community, what is helpful for grieving families,
and how the organization can help mothers heal.

The Finley Project was recently featured in People
Magazine for the unique, one of a kind Program
Model it uses.

Time TO CELEBRATE

Although never the same, The Finley Project provides hope for mothers when they feel
hopeless, by offering support, love, and compassion. We want mothers to know healing from
their tragedy is possible and we are here to celebrate!

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on the
support of individuals and businesses to fulfill our mission.
Since our inception in 2014, we have steadily increased our
goals and enrolled almost 350 mothers into our Program, all
with uniquely painfully hard journeys.
We provide those mothers with support,
love, and hope. In order to continue
this critical work, each year we host a
Celebration of Life Gala that not only
celebrates the mothers, but also serves
as our primary fundraiser to continue
supporting healing mothers.
