Management (MANAGE) is the pioneer institute to conceive
the concept of Agri Business Management (ABM) in 1996.
Established in 1987 as an apex national institute under the
Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India, MANAGE offers a 2-
year residential Post-Graduate Diploma in Management
(Agri-Business Management). MANAGE is vested with the

A fortnight spent in the rural areas among the rustic environment and rural folks helps
the students grab ideal agro-economic scenario at a very basic level. This program
provides the students an opportunity to understand the constraints faced by the
farmers as well as the potential areas for development in agriculture. At the end of the
study visit a report is made analyzing and identifying the bottlenecks of development
and opportunities for growth.

Bridge Course

This course was started to bridge the knowledge gap between agriculture and non-
agriculture graduates. Spread over the first trimester, it enables students from varied
backgrounds to get familiarized with the agriculture sector to move ahead with ABM
without any glitches.

Summer Internship

The fourth trimester during the first year, consisting of 8-10 weeks, is fully devoted to
industrial exposure into various companies. Students get a chance to have a closer look
at the functional agri-business practices and applications. It also helps students to

The summer internship is an ideal opportunity for students to learn about the actual functioning of the industry. This is 8-
10 week long event, during which the students work on real time projects offered by the companies under their
professional mentors.

Companies, who wish to recruit students with a prior work experience, can participate in this process. The company can
select the profile of the student for further process.

The Company may make an offer to a student at any time during the lateral placement period. The acceptance of the offer
shall be communicated at the end of the lateral recruitment season, i.e. December, 2016.
