1. PRE-DEPARTURE ANNOUNCEMENTS

1.1 REFUELLING ANNOUNCEMENT

F/J/Y (5 minutes after first guest boards and every 15 minutes thereafter)

Ladies and gentlemen, during aircraft refuelling, safety regulations require that you must
keep your seatbelt unfastened until refuelling is completed. Use of cigarette lighters,
matches and any other potential source of ignition is not permitted. Please remain seated
and observe the no smoking signs.

Thank you.

1.2 DURING BOARDING

F/J/Y (5 minutes after first guest boards and every 15 minutes thereafter)
This PA must be made during boarding, except when refuelling. During refuelling, only the
Refuelling Announcement (1.1) is to be made.

Ladies and Gentlemen, all electronic transmitting devices such as mobile phones and any
device equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability must be switched off or set to Flight
Mode during taxi, take-off, approach and landing and whenever instructed by the crew.

All forms of smoking, including use of electronic smoking devices, are not permitted
anywhere onboard. Thank you.

1.3 LOW VISIBILITY CONDITIONS (BEFORE TAKE OFF)

(This PA must be made if advised by Flight Crew of low visibility)

Please remain seated and continue to observe the seatbelt sign until it has been switched

We also recommend that you keep your seat belt fastened whenever you are seated and
when the seatbelt sign is on. If you wish to sleep, remember to fasten your seat belt over
your blanket or duvet.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere onboard including the lavatories.

Internet and mobile connectivity
This aircraft is enabled with mobile and Wi-Fi connectivity, which allows access to
wireless internet and the use of mobile phones. As a courtesy to all guests, we ask that
you adjust your phone to silent mode for the duration of the flight. Please refer to the
connectivity leaflet in your seat pocket for further details.

For aircraft with internet connectivity only
This aircraft is enabled with Wi-Fi connectivity. As a courtesy to all guests, we ask that

2.3 FLIGHT RETURNING TO AIRPORT

3. DISTRIBUTION OF DISEMBARKATION CARDS
3.1 ALL STATIONS (WHERE APPLICABLE – REFER TO CSIM)

Y (to be made before distribution of disembarkation cards)

(For flights to Brazil and Hong Kong, ONLY immigration forms will be distributed)

Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to distribute immigration and customs forms for
(city), which you are required to complete prior to arrival.

3.2 BAHRAIN

Y (to be made before distribution of disembarkation cards)

Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to distribute disembarkation cards for Bahrain.
All non- residents of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who are eligible for a visa on arrival, are
required to complete a disembarkation card which must be presented to immigration on
arrival. This is not applicable to GCC passport holders.

3.3 CANADA

Y (to be made before distribution of disembarkation cards)

Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to distribute Canadian Border Services Agency
Declaration Cards which you are required to complete before arrival. Up to four family
members living at the same address may be listed on one card. If you have any questions
about Canadian regulations, border services officers are available to help you at the
terminal.

3.4 PAKISTAN

Y (to be made before distribution of disembarkation cards)

Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to distribute disembarkation cards for Pakistan which
you are required to complete before arrival. All blue collar Pakistani nationals are not
required to complete this form.

3.5 TANZANIA

Y (to be made before distribution of disembarkation cards)

Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to distribute disembarkation cards for Tanzania.
All non-residents of Tanzania are required to complete this disembarkation card which must
be presented to immigration on arrival. This is not applicable to Tanzanian passport holders.

3.6 VIETNAM

Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to distribute medical declaration forms for Vietnam.
The completion of this form is compulsory for all guests travelling from the Middle East
and must be presented to immigration on arrival.

Ladies and gentlemen, we apologise for the shortage of disembarkation cards on our
flight today. Our airport team will have these available for you on arrival.

4. TOP OF DESCENT

4.1 ABU DHABI (FROM ALL DESTINATIONS EXCEPT ON FLIGHTS FROM
USA, CANADA, EUROPE)

Ladies and gentlemen, we have commenced our descent into Abu Dhabi.

In preparation for landing, please place your luggage in the overhead stowage or under
the seat in front of you. Ensure that your seatback is upright, your handset and table are
stowed and window blinds open/ windows are clear (B787 only). Please continue to
observe the no smoking sign

You must now switch off all electronic transmitting devices such as mobile phones;
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enabled devices, or set them to Flight Mode. Our connectivity system
will be shutting down.

If advised of low visibility conditions by Flight Crew – All Aircrafts:
Due to the current weather conditions, all electronic devices and mobile phones must be
switched off and may only be used after the aircraft doors are opened

Guests connecting to the Canada and the UK must ensure that all electronic devices in
your hand luggage have sufficient battery power as these will be required to be switched
on at security clearance points. Devices not meeting the requirement will be removed or
travel may be denied.

Guests connecting on Etihad Airways flights to the United States are requested to follow
the signs to Terminal 3, Gates 58 to 61. Please ensure that you complete the US
Customs and Border Protection forms prior to check-in.

Only on flights from Korea
This is a special announcement from the Korean National Quarantine Station

To prevent the spread of infectious diseases such as MERS-CoV and Zika virus, it is
recommended that you have your hands washed frequently, drink bottled water or boiled
tap water and consume thoroughly cooked food while travelling.

Do ensure that you avoid any contact with livestocks, camels and take extreme
precaution against mosquito bites.

Exit Signs
We draw your attention to the safety card which illustrates the signs identifying the exits.
Locate the exits nearest to you now, using these signs. Your nearest exit may be behind
