JCI has empowered youth to add more value to their communities while leading and serving by example. The purpose of this AGM meeting is to discuss 2023 Board of Director and received report from 2022 Board of Directors. Besides that, the chair expressed huge appreciate to all the JCI Seremban member and welcome Past President JCI Senator Timothy Teo, Past President Pauline Tan, Past President David Lim Teck Wei, and Past President Pang Wei Hao joined as observer in this meeting. 5 ADOPTION OF AGENDA Local President read through the agenda. JCI Seremban not only contribute & helping disabilities in term of material or fund raising, but we also caring them in mentality and build their soft skill & confidence, and that service to humanity is the best work of life. Observation 1. Having a regular event for member to join will be the key in retaining member and keep member active. 2. Awareness of public to disabilities still not enough strong and social responsibility awareness from member especially young generation is weak. 3. Weekly Sport Day are more easy to attract member and potential member to join. 4. JCI Seremban need more active member to make our LO stronger. Suggestions. 1. Encourage every JCI member to join and participant more on charity or social responsibility activities to achieve greater social impact. 2. Encourage every JCI member to join and participant more for Joint LO activities. This can help to expand their network and build strong connection with others LO members. Conclusion. 1. JCI Seremban badminton session runs continuously every week (Thursday) which maintain 20 above members participate. 2. Manage to have our own local academy this year plus it is an overnight academy. 3. Succeed to convince other local society to support us on Vice President Position in Majlis Belia Negeri Sembilan, which is our First Vice President from JCI Seremban under the roof in Majlis Belia Negeri Sembilan. To maintain a clear and consistent identity of JCI Seremban. A focused branding strategy would help distinguish us from our peers, the public and other NGOs. It is suggested to keep innovating projects such as ABM and Captain Planet. Theme continuity helps enabling public to understand our LO value more efficiently and effectively. Conclusion. 1. I would like to express my deepest thanks to all members of JCI Seremban who trusted and responded to the goal, we worked together and continue to set new milestones for our LO. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to President Tuan Yuan for entrusting me to join as her Board of Director. Organized an IAC + Corporate Visit in Nilai. 3. Gotten sponsorship from Lets Co Working Space. Observation 1. Very united BOD of 2022 2. Physical events are more engaging than virtual. 3. Members like to play badminton. 4. Lack of communication from the BOD to members in WhatsApp group, especially to the newly joined members. Suggestions. 1. Bid for an Area Event in 2023/2024. 2. Members recruitment event like JCI Seremban Open Day can be organized. 3. Members onboarding processes should be structured. 4. Members’ benefit should be prioritized. 5. Sponsorship packages shall be standardized. Conclusion. Thanks 2022 BOD for strengthening the foundation for JCI Seremban under the leadership of President Tuan Yuan. Leaders are not someone that hold positions and make instructions to achieve personal goals. But someone that can inspire the team towards the common goals.

Thank you for BOD for always support when I need. The target of this year has been achieved and looking forward for more self-improvement in upcoming year. The target of this year ( has been done) ❖ Build up connection between Past President and member. ❖ Take a lead and learn as leaders and empower member to be OC ❖ Organized more than 5 events ❖ Achieved best inspiring JCI Rise Project in Area Central South ❖ Expanded connection with another chapter especially north chapter. Suggestions. 1. In the coming year, a group may be created for new members and instruct members to plan their JCI path at JCIM and instruct them to register themselves at JVC.JCI.CC. 2. It is recommended to organize a weekly sports day in incoming year and make a strong bonding within member. 3. It is recommended to upload the relevant JCI Seremban docs to google drive so all docs can be easily passed to the next person. 4. Take a lead and encourage new member to be organizing chairperson. Opportunities seen by the LO on collaboration with universities in Negeri Sembilan (Seremban & Nilai) since it is the only LO in the state. Therefore, would be good that identifying our strength, increasing the membership / reputation by planning of more & more activities which aligned with JCI 4 pillars (Individual Development, Uplifting Community, Business Opportunity & International Connectivity.) After a long year of presidency, I am grateful to have all my BOD and member support me throughout the year. It’s a tough year, but we all manage to pull through. 2. The initiative by all BOD and Member are so great that I could not ask for more. All the awards won this year is the result of all the hard work by BOD, member and past presidents that giving guidance along the way. Suggestions. 1. Among some area that my term didn’t do well, hope that we could work together and improve it. 2. Taking a better care of the sponsor to create a better relationship together. 3. The chair received a motion from IPP Matt to propose a waiver for new member Francis Koek Tein Hoong to be a voting member in this AGM. Francis had joined JCI Seremban less than 3 months and still in his probation period. For a member to be eligible as a voting member, he will need to complete a 3 months’ probation and obtain the approval of the BOD as a member. Here, this motion will seek for the waiver to wave the bylaw 5-4, to allow Francis kuok to have his voting right before completing his 3 months’ probation.
