Irregular Verb หรือ กริยา 3 ช่อง โดยกริยาช่อง1 ใชเ้ ล่าเหตุการณ์ทว่ั ไป กริยาช่อง2 ใช้
เล่าเร่ืองในอดีต และกริยาช่อง3 บอกเหตุการณ์ท่ีเสร็จสิ้นแลว้

คำกริยำช่องท่ี 1 หรือ V.1
การใชค้ าสรรพนามกบั คากริยาช่องที่ 1 จะแบง่ เป็ น 2 แบบ คือ คากริยาแบบเอกพจนแ์ ละ

พหูพจน์ ซ่ึงจะตา่ งกนั เล็กนอ้ ย คาสรรพนาม He, She และ It จะตอ้ งเติม s หลงั คากริยาน้นั ๆ
He eats noodles today. ( เขากินก๋วยเตี๋ยววนั น้ี )

คำกริยำช่องท่ี 2 หรือ V.2
eat เป็นคากริยาช่องท่ี 1 ส่วนคากริยาช่องที่ 2 คือ ate คากริยาน้ีจะใชก้ บั การกระทาในอดีต

อาจจะเป็ นวนั ก่อน เมื่อวาน หรือตอนไหนก็ได้ ในอดีต เช่น เมื่อวานน้ี แดงกินขา้ วผดั กริยาช่องท่ี 2 หรือ
V.2 อาจจะมีการเปลี่ยนรูป หรือการออกเสียง เช่น eat เป็น ate ส่วนการใชค้ าสรรพนามกบั คากริยา
ช่องท่ี 2 คาสรรพนามทุกคาจะไมม่ ีการแบ่งแยกเป็นคาสรรพนามเอกพจน์ หรือพหูพจน์ จะใชเ้ หมือนกนั

He ate noodles yesterday. ( เขากินก๋วยเตี๋ยวเมื่อวนั น้ี )

พหูพจน์ ซ่ึงจะตา่ งกนั เล็กนอ้ ย คาสรรพนาม He, She และ It จะใช้ has + คากริยาช่องท่ี 3
(eaten) ส่วน I, You, We และ They จะใช้ have + คากริยาช่องท่ี 3 (eaten)

He has eaten noodles this morning. (เขาไดก้ ินก๋วยเต๋ียวเม่ือเชา้ วนั น้ี)
*คากริยาช่อง 3 eaten จะตอ้ งมี has อยขู่ า้ งหนา้

The Lion and the Four Oxen
รำชสีห์กบั ววั ส่ีตวั

These was a soft grassy meadow. Four oxen came here every
day to feed on the grass. They got along well and promised to look
after and help protect each other. The lion saw the four oxen and
wanted to eat them. The four oxen, however, were prepared to put up
a good fight against the lion. As a result, the lion had to hold back and
wait for a better time. The lion tried to stir up trouble among the oxen
to make them quarrel among themselves. Finally, the four oxen
started a fight. From then on, the four oxen went their separate ways
and lived separately. This gave the lion the chance he had been
waiting for. As a result, the attacked and killed the oxen, one by one,
and made a meal out of them.

The Dog and the Bells

Once upon a time, there was a man. He kept a puppy.

The puppy, however, grew up to be a mischievous dog and enjoyed
biting people. Neighbors got bitten all the time. The dog’s owner
decided to put bells around the dog’s neck in order to warn people

that the dog was approaching. The dog thought that the master had

given him an ornament. He strutted around proudly to show himself
off. “Look! My master really loves me. That’s why he gave me this
beautiful thing.” The bully dog bragged, stretching his neck up high.

At the other dogs, having never seen such bells before, believed him

and admired him. There was one dog, however, who knew all about
such bells. This dog said to his friends, “These are not ornaments.

They are to warn people that the dog wearing them likes to bite
people.” When all the other dogs had learned the truth, no one paid

attention to the bully dog ever again.
